The property is very well equipped and very comfortable. Communication is poor and the TV could not be operated. That was not a great concern. Had a great time. Thank You.

Just what our family (including the dog) needed to reset for the school holidays. We loved the property so much we limited going out to explore. Red tailed black cockatoo’s visiting each day. A family of emu’s also popped in to say ‘Hi’ most days. A very special stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Boranup karri forest. It is a very relaxing and peaceful place to be. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable with a toasty slow burning stove in the living room that heats the entire cottage and a wonderful hot shower. Pippa, our border terrier, also loved her time here - especially her walks on a long leash near and beyond the cottage and the scents and occasional sightings of emus and kangaroos. It is only a 20-25 minute drive from the Margaret River township which makes it an ideal and peaceful location to enjoy all that the Margaret River region has to offer! It is highly recommended!! :) :) :)

A Lovely chalet , tucked away in the forrest, with beautiful surroundings, very well equipped and centrally located. If we can summarise in Two words it will be: Peace and Tranquillity.

We loved our time here. And our Border Terrier, Pippa, especially loved brief and safe encounters with kangaroos and emus during our many walks. The native flowers and birds were wonderful, especially the Golden Whistler. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. We hope to return in the early autumn, 2024.

Quiet bush setting and peaceful. Lovely hot shower but spa outlets need cleaning so didn’t use the spa bath. Interior lighting especially in lounge area needs to be improved & made brighter as too dark. Would’ve been nice to have milk to start with tea/ coffee. Overall a relaxing place to stay near the caves

We loved our stay there and would recommend it. The only downside was that the spa wasn't working, and that was one of the reasons we booked there, as you are in the forest and nothing else around there other than the fireplace and spa. I advised owner and even after that there was no compensation (ex: 1 free night or some money back) for not getting what we were promised, so dissapointed with the lack of customer care and responsibility. To date he has not responded to message when we returned home.

Great location nice and quiet.

Chalet was amazing and it was nice that we could just arrive and go straight in. The only negative was it was hard to find and I had to do a search for an email I was sent 9 months ago when I booked to find directions. Once we had the directions it was fine, luckily I had access to my email.

Absolutely stunning location in a lively cottage with everything we needed.
Wood fire was great to have as it was a bit chilly.
Outdoor area was nice sitting on the daybed with a living window.
We also were able to ttake our little dog with us and he loved it
Very very relaxing and although there was no internet we really enjoyed the quiet with no phone going off.
Would recommend to anyone .

The house was very well equiped and well situated. There was firewood in the woodshed (some chopping required) and the house is nicely heated up by the fireplace. The kitchen had so much in there it was great! Knives were actually sharp! The beds were comfy and there were heated blankets. There were also a lot of board games and dvds for entertainment. Just be aware that mobile connectivity is patchy.
Wouldn't hesitate to come back.

My partner and I booked this spontaneously for a baby moon. The part that sold us was the full kitchen and wood fire, especially the wood fire. Communication with the manager Peter was amazing as there wasn’t a photo of the shower/spa bath.
We both had little to no reception so it was the perfect way to disconnect from the world, sit on the couch and crank the wood fire surrounded by the forest. Could not have asked for a better place to stay for a couple of days

Spacious, clean, warm chalet, surrounded by bush. The bed was comfortable, the shower warm, firewood plentiful, the kitchen excellent for cooking. The slow internet was probably the only downside, which swung between zero and one bar. I know there’s a thought that no internet is good when away down south, but it’s always nice to have access to it. Otherwise it was the perfect stay! Highly recommended.

I fell in love with this property online, and in person it did not disappoint!
The perfect winter mini escape for us and our two dogs (one miniature, one medium/large). The complete serenity, feeling like we were the only people around, the wildlife, the forest, the wood fire, the fully equipped chalet, it was all just perfect.
We left relaxed and recharged, vowing to return again soon! Loved every minute of it.

And we did go back! Different season but equally good.
The weather was inclement but the place is super cosy and the fire kept us warm.
The owner is very easy to get hold of and very helpful.
Thank you.

All 4 of us (2 humans and 2 dogs) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brides Chalet. The accommodation was very comfortable. The host's directions were spot on and the fire was still going when we arrived. Secluded location but close enough to get to Margaret River and surrounds.

Beautiful property, very quiet and tranquil. Lots of wildlife. Nice place to get away, close proximity to caves and equal distance to Margaret River and Augusta. If you are looking for a remote destination this is the place for you as there is no wifi or reception.
