The people were super friendly. The tacos were delicious. The river tour was amazing.
Mosquitos. But that’s nothing the hotel could do about.
4.1
the location right on the water
our room did not have what was pictured. I had to change rooms once because of a leaking air conditioner and I had to request a coffee maker. the staff called me “la gorda” when talking about me in front of me.

Large room with AC. Balcony over the lagoon was nice view. Fairly quiet.
They didn't have cable tv as advertised. They had a fire stick so take your Netflix password. Balcony only had 1 chair. Security door chain was broken. Biggest issue was the restaurant. Poor service. No printed dinner menu; had to have smart phone to see the menu. Ordered chips & salsa. Salsa was ketchup with some chopped onions & tomatoes in it.

Good location to do the Lamanai river boat trip to the ruins, room and restaurant were good.
4.1
Clean room overlooking little river lagoon. Everything was working - shower, toilet, clean towels. The restaurant was good food and service was good too.
Highway is close and you can hear the noise. No swimming possible - alligators visit the lagoon :) - not sure if it is minus actually. The place had an empty look - they still did not recover from Covid drop in tourism yet.

The staff is tremendous and food is incredible. They really went out of their way to accommodate us after showing up late in the evening and had dinner waiting!

lovely setting over the river. everything you need there.

good location for going to Lamanai. Nice balcony view overlooking the river, which was great for bird watching
The dock was broken and there wasn’t anything around the hotel as it’s on a busy road. You only need to stay one night for visiting Lamanai

The dinner was amazing and reasonably priced. The view in the early morning and late night was breathtaking.... and the staff.... superb.... the very best service I have had throughout my travels.

The staff was amazing. We didnt know what to expect when we first booked but, we were pleasantly surprised by how accommodating and helpful everyone at the hotel was. Do not expect a truly four-star experience but it is a decent hotel at a reasonable price in a good location.
There was no cable

Room was very clean. Breakfast was delicious Staff super friendly.
Seriously under-signed. No sign on the highway. No sign on the driveway. No sign where to park. No sign where to check in. . . . I'm astonished we found the place.
Glad we had two beds. The spring mattresses communicated every jostle. And the coils bit my hips.

Set in a stunning jungle inlet this hotel was immersed in nature and the room overlooking the inlet was spectacular. The restaurant provided for all needs and the food was gourmet.
There were some troubles with the television but staff went out of their way to assist and fix things.

Some bugs in the room at night

The hotel offers a good day trip to lamanai.
I felt like there needed to be a host there wasn't too many staff there and when you arrived it felt empty. Information was sparse, at breakfast time you were asked what you wanted but not given a menu or any information of what was available. We booked a trip but again information was sparse We turned up the next day, again to what felt like a nearly empty hotel, asking where we need to be for the trip and when to expect someone.. It was all very relaxed on their part thus making it unrelaxed on our part.

Location to visit Lamanai Maya temple.
The view from the bedroom on the lake is very nice.
The food choice is very limited (dinner and breakfast) and you are quite isolated from Orange Walk. The building had water issue for almost a full day, pretty harsh in 100+ degree weather and high humidity.
4.1
the grounds where a nice pay area for the kids and the restaurant was very relaxed
everything was covered in a layer of sooth from the burning of the fields

The staff were friendly and efficient. Lovely location. Excellent tour to Lamanai organised by the hotel. Highly recommend this.
Nothing really.

Spacious rooms! Clean!
The AC was nice to have but horrible in where it was located. It was blowing cold air on us all night. Not fun. Also the lunch we had there made our stomachs hurt a little. Not sure if it was the fish or what.

Did not have Breakfast at the hotel. It met my expectation and was in close proximity to where I need to be.

Good location near the road to Lamanai off of the Northern Highway. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. Hot shower. Staff was helpful and responsive. We enjoyed drinks an appetizers at the restaurant/bar overlooking the water. Parking off the highway in a gated area.

Loved the view from the room, very peaceful. Staff in the restaurant were very nice and helpful, food was really good. great internet in the rooms.
Beds could use some updating. Hard to find with no signage to the hotel.
