Paid over $600 US for three people, decided to leave San Pedro earlier than planned due to harassment by hawkers, emailed Amelias explaining would not be checking in, told no problem, go to hotel in person before arrival date for full refund. Went two days before, was told by owners wife there was no record of my booking, no record of my payment or my name, the rooms were already re-rented, and to discuss it with her husband, who was out of country and unavailable.

Said that they didn’t have our reserrvation and wanted to charge us more. My husband had to be very aggressive to get them to honour our booking. The guesthouse is quite run down. Toilet seat was not connected to toilet. This experience put a damper on our trip. Not good value for money

There a few good things about this place, its close to the city square, the A/C worked, and it was inexpensive.
The bad is almost awful, water is bad even for Belizean standards, reservations were mismanaged, the bunk room is a sweltering stagnant less than desirable room.

Room was not cleaned once over a five night stay. There are much nicer places to stay for a cheaper price in San Pedro.

It is a guesthouse with 5 rooms. It was advertised as free toiletries, shower only, and 42 inch flat screen in each room. I think only one room may have had a bathroom in the room. Nowhere does it say shared toilet and shower. Free toiletries was a bar of soap only. The upstairs toilet smelled like the sewer was backing up and it had a sink with no mirror. The down stairs had one single make shift plastic shower, with no shower head, and when you first run the water, it smelled like stagnant puddle water. There are no 42 inch flat screens, just old 19 inch cathode ray tubes. I dont mind shared toilets/shower etc if im expecting it and planning to suffer, but when it is not as advertised, thats what gets me angry! In addition to that, the location of the hotel was about 5 blocks away from what was advertised, this caused me major problems in finding the hotel. You do not want to be walking around in circleswith your luggage in this blazing sun and heat! The hotel is located at the beginning of pescador street near the airport not at the other end of town. Also it is located above the basmati restaurant but the check in counter is located in the basmati restaurant, completely confusing, they really need to fix this listing!

Good for budget travel. Close to everything, this is "downtown." Bathroom and shower are outside of the room and shared, more like a hostel than a hotel.

For the price, it was a good value. Located attached to an Indian restaurant, the owners were nice and easy to work with. Slight english language barrier but workable. This is NOT a resort but rather a safe place to store your stuff while you are out. About a 2 minute walk from the airport

We spent the first 2 days looking for new accommodation (on a non-refundable room). The walls, windows and fixtures were filthy. There was not any hot water. Toiletries are toilet paper, a bar of soap and 2 towels. The bed had clean sheets one bottom and 1 on top nothing more.. We passed through old kitchen area (unused) and dirty cupboards were full of rodent droppings. When we spoke with Expedia to hopefully resolve issues we were told they were unable to contact owner. We paid for 12 unused days!

The walls are thin. The bathrooms are shared. It is clean and the staff is friendly. Don't expect much and you'll be fine.

Owners are from Bangladesh and are very nice. The restaurant is below the rooms and the food is excellent and inexpensive. This is not really a hotel per say. It is really some bedrooms with some having shared baths and some having private baths. Some of the rooms have a/c and some did not, but I think he was in the process of having a/c put in all the rooms. These are by no means deluxe accommodations, but if you are looking for a bargain price in downtown San Pedro and want to support small business than this is a good place. Don't forget to eat at the restaurant (Basmati Restaurant). The owner Foysal is an excellent cook and will cook what you catch if you go out fishing. You can get it grill style or Indian style. Both are excellent and I'm not normally a fan of Indian food

This is really a guest house with a few rooms attached to an Indian restaurant in the middle of town; the owners are very nice and accommodating but have just started the business of renting out rooms and have much to learn; it was advertised as a room with a living area and a kitchen. It was nothing of the sort--just a room with an ensuite bathroom. The owners said that the site had been advertised wrongly and did provide a kettle and nescafe with cups for morning coffee. Room had two pedestal fans, two queen beds, an airconditioner and TV.
