Belle découverte

Chambre bien aménagée et bien décorée comme les couloirs et lobby de l’hôtel, c’est magique! Une boisson de bienvenue nous a été offerte ainsi que 2 capsules Nespresso dont la machine se trouve dans la chambre. Très bon petit déjeuner servis dans la boulangerie attenante. Une superbe expérience, à recommander.

Extremely friendly staff (particular shout out to the cleaning ladies), very spacious and comfortable room with great shower and great breakfast at "A Padaria Portuguesa" downstairs. Superb location, central and quiet at the same time, we will certainly come back!

Comfortable beds, excellent value-add benefits.

The property was fun, had lots of extra common space to enjoy and the beds were very comfortable.

The mirrors in the lobby were a bit disconcerting. A bit of a safety hazard TBH. However it does add to the vibe of this chic hotel.

location was great, hotel made great use of the space, although the room was small, there was a separate shared lounge area that made up for it.

Exceptional

Stunning design, full of funky details, but these don't detract from the comfort of the rooms. Breakfast is in their chic cafe with an amazing patisserie. Loved it!

Fantastic short stay!

The location is ideal and the staff, especially Inêz, were all fantastic! if you ever want to do a wine tasting/tour in the area, Inêz can arrange it.

Its very central to everything. everything is a walking distance. The level of service received from Martha Jones was exceptional

Rooms aren’t spacious, for more than 2 nights stay perhaps I wouldn’t prefer. Otherwise, it’s perfect

A great stay could be perfect with minor changes.

Even before our stay we were made to feel very welcome by our host. We were greeted at reception by a very friendly and helpful host. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were a good size with good amenities. Very well finished and decorated. The guest house was in a good location and was perfect for a short stay.

We think the bathroom could be turned as there is a glass wall which does not really hide the person bathing. Not so bad except that the glass screen is opposite the door to the room and so passers by and visitors can also see any occupant in the shower if the door is open for any reason. Some people are very private and uncomfortable even with their partner being able to see them showering. By rotating the glass wall to the side, there would be much more privacy and also the opportunity to provide a wardrobe. As the bathroom has a glass wall if you need to use it in the middle of the night then putting on the light will disturb your partner's sleep.

Very friendly reception in this boutique hotel located in the old city centre. Beautiful and spacious rooms with a quiet lobby for reading and relaxing. An extensive breakfast is served. I will surely return.

Location, staff, rooms, very comfortable beds.

Breakfast was very awkward. Staff told us to just step to eh front of ht line since we were guests... but this annoyed other people in line who didn't know why we were just stepping in front of them. Made it very awkward to your guests. We eded up skipping breakfast the second day because this was so uncomfortable.
