The staff were unbelievable. They felt incredibly warm and genuine, and went out of their way to help us. My friend has a gluten and lactose intolerance, and they not only provided warm gluten-free bread and oat milk, but also asked if we would be staying another night so they could have it ready and waiting for us the next day. Such a lovely considerate touch.
Special mention also to the lady on reception, who made us feel like family, after a long and tiring day.
Would have loved some Netflix access etc, but not a disaster.

This was one of my favorite hotels during two weeks in Portugal. It is in an old building in an excellent location, but it is fresh and modern and comfortable in every way. It is on a busy street, but quiet. The breakfast couldn’t have been better. The staff was very accommodating. We arrived welll before check-in time and could store our bags. We also left our bags for hours the next day, and staff was lovely about it. They all speak excellent English, know Setubal well, and are professional in every way.
I just wish I could have stayed there another day or two!

Lack of parking facilities.

Just a fab over all place with the most helpful staff
Not the hotel fault for its an old building but very difficult to take baggage to room

After countless "sterile" hotels this is a special place with a soul. Nothing more to say. There were three balconies in my room, even in the shower, funny! Good conditioning options and, as always tricky capsules coffee machine. Nice compliments upon arrival, free tee and coffee and a bottle of local vine! Thanks
Probably, there are no elevator, use stairs.

perfect location across the Road from m the old part of town, really friendly & helpful staff, quirky furnishings
no lift could be an issue for some travellers even if there are only two floors, although reception staff helped with heavy bags

excellent location very easy to find and the staff at the hotel was incredibly nice and helpful. they went out of their way to help three Americans who spoke no Portuguese - the hotel itself is lovely, very comfortable and the best beds we have slept in so far in our trip and that includes Lisbon. also had a really good breakfast !
nothing!

This hotel is ideally located in the very centre of Setúbal, only a few metres from some of the main attractions and with plenty of restaurants and bars close by. The hotel itself is in a historical building, but you won't miss any of the mod coms, as it was extensively renovated only a couple of years ago. Breakfast is good and the rooms themselves, while not luxurious, are sufficiently well-appointed and spacious for a short stay. Staff are the real attraction here: they were extremely kind and eager to help!
There is a series of anterooms in the building, one per three bedrooms or so. The only problem is that only people with the key to one of those bedrooms can access the anteroom. This is actually a very good idea, especially if you're travelling with children and to avoid any noise from other public areas. The only problem is that, if your group do not all have bedrooms in the same area, you cannot just come round and knock on their door... I would recommend to the hotel managers that they come up with a different system!

Lovely and helpful staff. Beautiful hotel with sitting rooms that were nice to have as we were a group of friends with separate rooms. The location is perfect.

A superb boutique hotel, centrally located in the Setubal. Friendly, helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast included. Although on a busy street, the room was quiet. Super clean room and large ensuite. Comfortable, quiet sitting areas throughout the hotel for guests to use.

The location is excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (f.e. Sebastian). The only thing I missed at breakfast is fresh plain yoghurt but we did not have this in the other 5 hotels we have stayed the last weeks. But there is enough fresh fruit, good bread, eggs, ...
nothing.
