The hotel is quite new and good looking. Staff was nice and helpful. Even though Santiago is not the best city to enjoy open air but it was nice to have the leafy balcony anyways. Location is good surrounded by nice restaurants and bars and feels safe.
Despite the large balcony, the size of the room is actually quite small. It can barely fit a double bed which is quite small for hotels of this level. Also small details that doesn’t quite match the price tag - poor quality mattress, pillows are uncomfortable, the sliding doors to balconies doesn’t lock properly and barely blocks out any noise from the street.

Fantastic location, and very friendly/helpful staff. Nice little patio outside room.
Room a bit small.

Great boutique property with only 6 rooms in one of the best neighborhoods in Santiago. Very walkable to countless restaurants, cafes and bars. Great design and comfort - not to mention the room was massive - much more than we needed! All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful.
We only had two issues during our stay. The sliding glass doors to our balcony did not lock and the shower doesn't drain properly so you end up standing in a pool of water - both of which need to be fixed.

This is a boutique hotel. We stayed on the 3rd floor in their suite. It had a wrap around terrace with lots of seating. It is centrally located in Barrio Italia. The room was large, the staff was attentive, bed was comfortable, and breakfast was delicious-made to order not a buffet.

Incredibly warm welcome on arrival & throughout our stay. We added a night to our booking staying 3 nights. We had the loft room which was absolutely stunning. The included breakfast had plenty of choices & great coffee. Loved it all, thank you

The staff at the hotel are absolute top-notch. The people working at the front desk are some of the most helpful and friendly people I have met. The breakfast is incredible as well. All of the food and juices are amazing. The design of the hotel is very nice, all of the furnishings in the rooms are very nice, and in very good working order. There is nothing that this hotel does not do extremely well.

Breakfast was delicious. Staff in the hotel and the connected coffee shop were really helpful and friendly. Great location.
This only matters if you're an old geezer who is used to firm mattresses - the beds were a little springy.

Home away from home. This is my third booking here. And I will be back in November as there is nowhere else I would rather stay in Santiago.
It seems small, bit the bathroom needs some hooks or hangers for towels.

It’s a beautiful building, thoughtfully designed with gorgeous furnishings. Very peaceful and quiet during the day but the surrounding area is definitely lively in the evenings. The hotel staff are attentive and keen to help - and the breakfast team looked after us wonderfully every day.
Some of the rooms are on the small size, particularly if you have a lot of luggage.

Loved this small design-led and very clean and comfortable hotel. The staff, particularly in the fantastic café (delicious breakfasts), could not be more helpful. The location is definitely lively, surrounded by tons of cool restaurants and bars, but feels very safe.
The hotel seems geared towards couples. All rooms have double beds - there are no twin rooms.

Location is amazing! The bario Italia neighborhood is the nicest part of Santiago that I have found so far.
And this hotel is centrally located with plenty of places to eat, drink, dance and shop within 1-10 mins walk But in a relaxed street without too much noise. Nice to enjoy from the beautiful and green balcony that our room had.
The place is a very small (<10 rooms?) but has 24 hour staff that takes very good care of its guests. And perfect breakfast/lunch facilities for eating outside in the patio.
I recommend it, and am certainly coming back.

Maison Italia was absolutely fantastic - super attentive staff, gorgeous rooms, great location and a lovely home cooked breakfast included. The team were super helpful, accommodating early check-in and facilitating our room change while we were out. As a budget traveller, it was a welcome reprieve from hostels. The attention to detail was second to none - we would go back in a heartbeat.
No constructive criticism to note.

The location was unbeatable - close to restaurants and shops of Barrio Italia, while not far from more touristy sites. Room was compact but well appointed. Terrace was a wonderful place to take breakfast.
The service at the front desk was abysmal (with the exception of the night manager). When the air conditioning in our room was making a clicking nose every minute, the women at the front gave us a shrug. When the bikes that were advertised were clearly not ready for use, we were told to take them to get air for the tires ourselves. Breakfast didn't have all the options everyday.

Great location and well designed rooms with terrace. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast!
Although the rooms are very nice, they are a bit small if you have a lot of luggage.

Breakfast was taken an a very cool cafe on the ground floor - fantastic food (especially the pancakes!). We hade the top floor room which was enormous - fantastic views over the busy street scene but went quiet after midnight. Best area in the city. Top floor room was actually a restaurant pre covid so is a bit quirky with a full kitchen. Very nice wrap around terrace with seating ideal for evening people watching with a glass of wine. Bathroom was tiny but a small price to pay for such a cool 'apartment'. Housekeeping needs some work, we never did get any dressing gowns... Avenue Italia is full of quirkly and very cool bars and shops. Would fully recommend. Suggest travelers use the Uber servive.
Housekeeping was a bit challenging but overall the place was very clean.

- location was great - right near Bairro Italia, in the middle of everything. You can move around walking to the main places of the city (20-40 min)
- room was great but the best was the balcony, calm and with great view
- breakfast was excellent with several options
- hotel in general is super fancy and has a great attention to the details - the fact of being a small hotel (only 6 rooms) made our stay very cozy.
- in the last day we had arranged a lighter breakfast since we needed to go to the airport before the opening of the breakfast (it was mentioned some fruit, croissant, of course things that didnt need many preparation) but in the morning they only gave us a sandwich of ham and cheese. Everything was so perfect within our stay that this last moment was really a bad one.

we stayed in the big top floor king room. it was very nice, big, great terrace except the shower room smelled very bad. it use to be the rooftop bar area that they turned in to a big king size room. there is a stove that you apparently can’t use and that seams dumb.
location was great
