AMAZING STAY!!

AMAZING! my favourite place we have stayed in while travelling east africa! the pool area is stunning, the rooms are amazing, the host is so lovely! the wifi was good, everything was amazing! we had food and water on arrival and the host was so helpful with everything!

Fantastisk ställe

Vi tillbringade 10 nätter på blue bird. En familj med två småbarn. Redan från start har kommunikationen fungerat utmärkt med Joanna. Hon är tillmötesgående och vänlig. Vi trivdes enormt mycket i deras hus. Det var rent och stora utrymmen. Fläkten i sovrummet på övervåningen uppskattades mycket. Trädgården och all den grönska gjorde verkligen vår vistelse. Vi gillade lugnt och det är nära till stranden, ca 5 min. Vi fick anledning att använda deras tvättservice som fungerade väl och var prisvärd. Jag skulle utan tvekan återkomma.

Det var så trevligt att det är svårt att lämna stället. Våra barn pratar fortfarande om deras två hundar.

3 semaines au paradis

L'ensemble de la propriété. La gentillesse de la propriétaire et du personnel. La piscine. La propreté. La proximité avec la plage,les restaurants et le supermarché de Pereybère. Les 2 adorables toutous.La possibilité de trouver sur place eau bière et coca ce qui facilite grandement les courses quand on n'a pas de véhicule. L'arr^t de bus juste à côté.

The best place to stay on Mauritius

We stayed one week in the villa with our 5 year old son and loved everything about the place: the friendly people, the lovely pool, the fridge that was filled by arrival, the two friendly doggies, the beach around the corner, the cleanliness, the late-check-out without any extra costs, etc. THANK YOU SO MUCH Joana, we hope, we can come back one day :-)

Great location very close to Pereybere public beach and few meters from a bus stop. The apartment was clean, the pool was taken care of every day. Everyone was really nice and we even had some basic staple food prepared in the fridge. You can also buy watee, beer and coca cola on spot. Really good value. And we loved the dogs!

Prepare mosquito repellent, there is a lot 😅

Beautiful compound, very nice staff, everything clean, 5 min to public beach by foot, 10-20 min to grand Baie or amazing beaches (Mont Chosy, Troux aux biches) by car or motorbike, public bus, taxi.

Could hardly have been any better.

Beautiful

Beautiful property a few minutes drive (around 4-5 minutes) from grand bay. The villa was really comfortable and big enough for a family of 5. I highly recommend the property.

Wonderful small apartment in Pereybere serviced by extremely lovely staff

Smart and modern ground floor studio apartment in an elegant building in local style. EXTREMELY friendly staff. Nice welcome from Anthony the owner. Wendi and Joanna were exceptionally friendly and helpful and my room was cleaned by Josie who was very thorough and very friendly too. The room was large and airy and clean with a small Kitchenette and small shower room - perfect for one person. I was there for work so didn't use swimming pool which was inviting and looked very pleasant and clean. The sea was a 5 minute walk away but again I did not have time to visit but from past experience it is a small lovely beach but rather spoilt by the overbuilding of the surroundings.

No TV in any of the rooms. Actually a good thing since most hotels/apartments in Mauritius have TVs that offer only few free channels playing rubbish so I welcomed the opportunity to read and watch the box sets I downloaded. The kitchenettes are basic and really just adequate to make simple breakfasts and sandwiches and salads but adequate if you don't want to eat out everyday and need to prepare light meals.

Best place to stay near Grand Baie

An absolutely perfect place for a holiday! The staff was super friendly and we felt taken care of as soon as we stepped on the island. Room was clean, super comfy & private. Location of the place was also perfect - just a few steps from the beautiful Pereybere beach and walking distance from Grand Baie. Would 100% stay there again and definitely recommend it to anyone who is planning their trip to Mauritius!

Amazing stay

Beautiful surrounding,very quite and with its extremely friendly stuff.Really close to the pereybere beach and only one stop to the big shopping center and supermarket.Thanks for the hospitality!

Amazing house for vacation

We have stayed 10 nights in the villa and it was really good for our company: 2 families with kids. We have been provided with baby cribs and baby chairs, as requested. The garden is really nice and chill, with poll and barbecue facilities. Parking was available on the territory. Pereybere beach in 5 min walking and Winner's supermarket - in 7-10 min.

It would be good to have a washing machine and dish-washer in the property.

Our stay at the Blue Bird was memorable for all the right reasons, a definite recommend.

i am unsure if i am rating the beach or the blue bird here, however assuming is the Blue Bird, i liked the location to beach, shops restauransts etc, easily accessible to bus routes to other tourist locations, it felt very safe within the accommodation area with a locked gate. the pool area and patio areas were a delight with shrubbery and birds. the hosts provide a homely environment where basic food essentials are provided and available if more required, for example, umbrellas and mosquito coils available in the room, very helpful and standard of cleanlinness was superb.

i did find locating the property on the day of our arrival quite difficult based on the directions provided by booking.com, we had to utilise google maps and access from the coastal road and then it was ok to find where it was. in addition the information booklets were all in German , this seemed appropriate for many guests but it would be useful to replicate in english. this is a constructive note and not something that wasn't liked.
