We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the amazing views from the home. The Amalfi Coast is a beautiful place to visit. The home was just perfect for our needs.

We absolutely loved this small town. Enjoyed taking a boat trip along the Amalfi coast. A couple great restaurants in town and wonderful handmade pottery shop. Loved the patio with a fantastic view. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was very nice. Tons of steps but so worth it!

We had an amazing time. The house was lovely, Cristina was on top of every communication. The people of Conca dei Marini we'll remember forever and consider after our two weeks there friends.

We had a wonderful stay here with my brothers in law. The location was amazing, beautiful property. We were able to get around the Amalfi Coast easily. However, our host was completely unresponsive during our stay. She never answered a text about WiFi nor any clarification when we asked about recycling. Then she proceeded to get upset about things left behind - even though the majority of our garbage went out that night before, we had garbage morning of checkout (we traveled with a baby and had her diaper among breakfast waste at the house). We thought since we paid 150 euros for a final cleaning that it would be ok. I would only stay here again if there was a different host. Loved Conca dei Marini, you will love it if you don’t have to deal with Cristina as well.

All we had hoped for! Lovely quiet town, great restaurants! Great view of the Med and all the boat traffic. Cristina was an attentive host.

We had a wonderful time at the property. Cristina was great and very responsive. Location was central although be prepared for lots of stairs. Close to a couple really nice restaurants and Piccadilly Ceramics. Would definitely recommend this place.

We were a group of 4 ladies. The bedrooms were wonderful, all with a lovely view. Bathrooms very nice. Patio beautiful, but weather was not cooperating. There are a lot of stairs to manage at check in and no assistance. So be prepared. Parking was easy with local pass for nearby spaces. We loved the small town above.

Relaxing Villa in Perfect, Quiet Location
We were two families(7 people total) enjoying the villa for 10+ days during mid/late June. Views were incredible, especially from the outside terraces. Quiet area with locals all around. Loved that each bedroom had A/C. We were concerned that the "family room" was so small but we were never inside. Kitchen was small but we didn't use except for an occasional fried egg in the morning. Villa is closed to a few excellent restaurants that we visited many nights. Easy for teens to walk to gelato or beach. Easy but lots of stairs that are thankfully well lit at night. We went for coffee and croissants each moring and ran along the road to Amalfi. Despite some traffic, still felt safe running on the road early morning. Loved the nearby beach club. Conca is quiet and a wonderful respit from crazy Positano and buzzing Amalfi. W would absolutely stay in this location again. Note: The Wifi is very slow and really only works when sitting very close. But then again,we were there to unplug anyway. Host was great to work with and communicative.

Beautiful house and location
My 80 year old mother myself and my sister rented this property for 8 days. The house is beautiful but could use some updates. I found my bed to be very comfortable but my mother had a rod in her back which could be solved with a mattress topper. Also often a fuse would blow when we toasted bread in the morning. The kitchen and home were well equipped but could use some kitchen towels. The upstairs shower also went everywhere when it was turned on. So could use some fine tuning but again we enjoyed our stay and would come back again. The location was beautiful and as long as you don’t mind walking stairs and hills it’s amazing. Local market and restaurants are above the house and is a quick 10 min walk. Everyone is very friendly and nice.
We loved Conca

This was our 10th vacation to Conca dei Marini since 2005, One of the Best!
The pictures are very real and if you have never been to this region, the actual place is even more breathtaking. The villa was clean, Cristina was punctual and helpful and always a txt message or phone call away. Amazing host and amazing views and amazing villa.
For those that know the area, its two terraces (aprox 150 steps) up from the main road.
This was our first time renting a villa, typically we stay in one of the nearby hotels, but this experience was so nice, we are definitely going to do this again. One of the things you get with this villa that you don’t with a hotel is privacy and a beautiful terrace, you could easily entertain a small party of 30-40 guests for cocktails.
Hope you try living la dolce vita in Amalfi and hopefully you enjoy the adventure and this villa as much as we did.

Villa is exactly as pictured. It worked well for our family of eight adults. The town is very friendly and charming, the beach is lovely. It is a pebble beach, and we did use our water shoes, but the upside is no sand stuck to everything! The walk to the beach is a workout due to the many steps, but the water is so clear and refreshing it is well worth it. We ate at La Tonarella and Zeffiro Sereno at the beach and both were good. Rented chaise lounges and umbrellas for somewhere around 10 Euro per person. In Conca we ate twice at La Piazza da Nino where they made an excellent pizza, and once at Le Bonta del Capo, which had lovely views and pretty good food. The little market had everything we needed. We only ate breakfast at the villa.
The villa was clean, beds were ok, could use a few extra pillows, the a/c in the bedrooms was great. As another reviewer suggested, pay for extra towels and floor mats for the shower. I washed the beach towels midweek, but the washer is very slow (2 hours), and there is no dryer, so they had to air dry outside. No big deal, but I should have paid extra for more towels.
We rented two cars, and Cristina provided a parking pass for one. Be advised that the metered parking nearby worked out fine, and you can pay 8 Euro for the whole day. We didn't know that, and started paying by the hour with whatever coins we had, which is more expensive overall.
The villa is located well for trips into the nearby towns. In the summer, Positano, Amalfi and Capri are overwhelmingly crowded during the day (much nicer at night, no night ferry from Capri) and returning to Conca was a welcome respite! We have been to Ravello on two separate visits to the Amalfi Coast and it is much quieter and very beautiful.
On our last visit, we stayed in Praiano, and preferred Conca dei Marini.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay in Conca dei Marini again!

Flere veldig gode restauranter i området.

It was my first time renting a VRBO and I thought the Internet access and especially Cristina’s help made it very easy. Even though I knew it was on a cliff and there would be lots of stairs to go up and down to all activities, I was still amazed how difficult it was to get around. But overall, and experience worth having.

This villa was perfect for our family get away. There were 4 couples, each with our own room. The only downside is sharing 2 bathrooms. It would also be nice if each bedroom had a mirror to make getting ready in the morning easier. The villa was well equipped. We loved sitting outside on the veranda looking out to the ocean. There are many steps down to the bus stop and up to the restaurants. You will get your workout!! Cristina was delightful and very attentive. We were all sad to leave and hope to return in the future. It’s definitely a do again for us.

Mycket fin villa, men många trappor

Our family had the perfect location for an Amalfi experience. This villa is perfect for couples or a family. It comes exactly as advertised, with no surprised. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was a gift on a hot summer vacation. Christina met us with the key and assisted us with questions upon arrival.
Conca dei Marini is the perfect village to stay in; public beach (beware no washrooms -really! You must pay to sit at a restaurant to use their toilet - two choices for this. There are two change rooms beside a free shower), also a choice of private sea terrace Capo di Conca (we preferred due to washrooms, shower, space and food choices), walking access (up about 100 stairs) to a market for your grocery shopping needs and walking access to beautiful terrace restaurant - Bonte dei Capo, (this became our nightly go to with a diverse Italian menu, gorgeous décor, appropriately priced and friendly staff and owner Antonio), also easy boat taxi for day trips to Amalfi, (7 Euro's each one way) Positano (20 Euro's each one way) (these visits towns are much more crowded with tourists - lovely to visit and return to quiet). We also day tripped to Naples Archeological Museum followed by Pompeii - hired a driver for this. No matter how prepared you are, you are not !, for the just under 600 (560 - we counted - it is not 400! ) stairs to the Conca dei Marini beach/boat access. Still we knew this was coming and enjoyed the challenge as part of the experience. Our week stay was perfect and if you are looking for a beautiful villa with all amenities, this is a great one.
Only one warning - Christina requested 400 Euros in cash as a security deposit when we met and received the keys. We assumed a security is part of our rental, have never been asked for cash exchange through a VRBO rental and were caught off guard by this request. This should be made more clear in the rental agreement - which we reviewed and found no mention of it anywhere, including communications with Christina prior.

Overall we loved our stay at Villa del Capitano! The villa looks exactly as shown in the online photos we loved the blue & white decor with the backdrop of the picturesque sea. We found Conca dei Marini to be the perfect location between the various towns on Amalfi that we wanted to explore: Ravello, Sorrento, Positano, etc. so it was conveniently situated.
Because there were 7 adults for 1 week with only 2 bathrooms, it was a little tough because we were only given 1 towel each, and the bathroom and bath mats got pretty dirty quickly. I didn't think to ask prior to arrival but it would have been really great to have a mid-week cleaning service and towel refresh - we would have even paid for it if it had been offered!
Also, we did not realize that we had to go out to the store to buy our own toilet paper and laundry detergent (some was provided but not enough for the whole week). That could be a little inconvenient for some if you have excursions booked all day because the nearby store has limited hours.
All in all, we loved our vacation!!

I cannot say enough about this home and Cristina! She helped with everything from transporting us, our trip to Capri and our Cooking Class! The house is just like it was pictured! There were no problems with getting our deposit back! Thank you Cristina for a great vacation and all your help!

Simply Beautiful!!
We absolutely loved our stay here in Conca dei Marini. Cristina was very accommodating and helpful both leading up to and throughout our stay. The home was very clean and well equipped. To say that the views from the patios were wonderful would not be sufficient. Next time we bring our family back to the Almafi Coast, this is exactly where we will stay. Thank you again Cristina!!!

Property was spotlessly clean and of a very high standard.
We very much enjoyed the villa, although it is a little tricky to access (you must park your car a short walk away up very steep and narrow alley ways. The daily charges are 18 euro which would add up however we were told by the locals that it was off season so not to bother paying, we did so and it was no problem. I would recommend that the faint of heart use the local bus service rather than drive as the hairpin corners and narrow roads are challenging to say the least. The villa is well situated to travel to Amalfi , Positano and Pompeii. Cristina the rental agent was very helpful and is quick to respond to any questions by text. We spent a day on the beach however it is over 400 steps down!! Dont forget the sunscreen!!! The surrounding views are breathtaking and the water clear and warm.

The villa was lovely although the kitchen was pretty inadequate for entertaining!!
Refund for the security deposit is taking a long time!!

Beautiful and stunning views
The villa was bigger than we thought it was which was an awesome bonus It was beautiful inside and out. Nicely decorated and felt homey. It has plenty of space for 6 or more people. Each room had a heater (which was great since it got really cold). The dining/kitchen area has a pellet stove which works really well. There is a stove top and dishwasher but no oven. However there was a microwave/convection little oven on the counter. Cristina was very helpful and answered our questions before/during our trip there. She met up with us when we were lost and made sure we were informed of things in the house (how it worked) and what was around the area before she left. During our stay we asked about purchasing a temporary channel for the Formula 1 and the owners were so kind and generous to turn it on for us so we could watch it! The coffee maker is a typical European one so if you're from the states and don't use one it will be something to get used to but our family thought it made great tasting coffee. It was a wonderful stay, the grocery store is in walking distance if you don't want to drive. Also, would recommend driving a small car. We drove a 9 passenger vehicle which was way too big for sharp corners and narrow roads. We would do two smaller cars for a big group next time. It was great and hope to come back to it again some day.
