North Berwick is a beautiful place - and the little flat provides a good base for exploring

keys were there - and message to describe collecting the keys was clear

Difficult opening and closing the safe - no light over the safe either

Excellent well maintained property, highly recommended, we wil definitely stay again.

Breakwater is ideally located on the sea front and gives an excellent view of the islands Craigleith, and Bass rock. It is also provides easy access to all the local amenities which are within walking distance. The property is very well presented and very clean and comfortable, and has everything you would need during your stay.

Everything was as advertised, and there was nothing not to like. The only thing that could be improved upon ,was the communication from the agent as I had an email, confirming the booking and stating that the keys were to be picked up from an address on the high street, as an office. On the day of the visit I went to the address as stated , but it was not there, and I was told by the shop next door they had not been there for a while,which was a bit worrying. I didn’t realise I had been sent another email , as I had been travelling all day, and so hadn’t looked at my emails, giving different instructions, this was a bit frustrating, and if I was unable to check my emails again, it would have been a problem.Im sure this can easily be resolved, if you are told beforehand about the situation.

wonderful accommodation North Berwick a lovely little town really enjoyed it

Great location wonderful beach front sea view excellent accommodation well stocked stylish very comfy beds

Beautifully appointed, perfect location

Fabulous little apartment, right on the beach only a few minutes walk from the town centre. The apartment was spotless and well equipped as well as being very nicely decorated and comfortable. We stayed for a week and had a lovely time exploring the area. Really can't fault it and would definitely return.

The location is perfect - wonderful view of the beach and a short walk to the High Street.

Excellent location, reasonably spacious, two good bathrooms but sitting room very disappointing

The location is the main plus for this house, facing right on to the beach. The two bedroom house is spacious and the best feature has to be the modern and clean bathrooms. The main double bed was comfortable but the pillows need replacing.

The sitting room/tiny kitchen is extremely disappointing. The sitting room is in need of refurbishment, tired looking, gloomy, cheap furniture and two sofas that are uncomfortable and need replacing as other visitors have noted in the visitor book. The window looking out on to sea front is obscured by a makeshift double glazing unit which is hard to open, and slung across this half way up is an old net curtain. What a disappointment. In North Berwick the weather is bound to be rainy some days and we were not comfortable in this sitting room and with an obscured view. The rotting front door also makes for a disappointing welcome.

Ideal location for the beach and town.

Location to the beach and the town. The layout of the flat. On-suite bathroom. Very warm.

Second key would have been handy. Grab handles on the wall of the family bathroom when using the shower or a bathmat to prevent slipping.
