Good location, excellent views
Water pressure in room poor. Menu choice from main menu poor
4.2
Helpful and thoughtful staff regarding where I sat on my own at breakfast and dinner.
Staff in reception of gym/pool also very nice and friendly.
4.2
Location and staff
Room had no drawers to store personal items . Bathrooms are 3 star and doors are cheap wood and very noisy when closing
4.2
I like the decor, the location, the staff were good and the hotel had a nice atmosphere.
First all we really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely return. I found that the room was very hot. It was a stormy night so couldn’t open the windows. But this is small gripe, and we had a great time.

The hotel was amazing, so beautiful. The reception staff incredibly welcoming. View from the lounge was stunning. Bedroom was huge and just lovely.
I sat in the lounge for over 20 minutes waiting to be served. Breakfast was slow service and meal was not very good. The Scottish breakfast was sad. One egg, one sausage, one thin over cooked hash brown, greasy bacon and some haggis. It looked anaemic. Took ages to come.

Very comfortable and spacious

Spa facilities, fabulous lounge and nice breakfast
The room had a lack of accessible sockets and a wardrobe positioned such that should you trip down the step coming out of the room you would likely crack your head on the corner.
4.2
The location with stunning views across to the sea is incredible. The pool was lovely.
Cleanliness: when I was shown to my room and the door opened I immediately noticed about 4 big blue bottles buzzxing around the room - when I went into the bathroom there were more flies. I asked the desk staff if they could remove the flies and I was given a very lack lustre response that they didn't have any fly killer so it was for me to try to kill them with a towel. I thought that was a very poor response.
Checking in: the girl who tried to check me in had issues with her computer which I completely understand. However I felt she was very unprofessional complaining it was time for her to go home and having to wait to get access to her colleague's computer was annoying. What about me! I had driven up the A1 for over 6 hours and wanted a warm welcome - not a grumpy staff member itching to get home.

Beautiful property, refurbished to a really high standard. Comfortable beds and beautifully clean.
The lift broke down meaning we had to walk up the stairs. With limited mobility this was an effort!
4.2
Great food, lovely location and beautiful rooms

Lage, bestes Frühstück ever in Schottland, Ausstattung der Fitnessräume, Vielfalt der Saunen
Heizung ging in einem Zimmer nicht (wurde dann auf Bitte von Elektroheizer ersetzt)

The entrance to the hotel opens up to a large seating area with a magnificent view. The room we had was really nice, very well fitted out and comfortable. It was kept very clean throughout our stay and well stocked.
the breakfast was very good, served in a lovely room overlooking the golf course and sea. Good choice for breakfast and all freshly cooked to order
the hot suite and the pool were very welcome as we had horrendous weather
staff were all very friendly, polite and helpful
we did give in the bar the first evening after over 20 mins waiting to get served

Professional, friendly and attentive staff.
Room was small and didn't reflect the price.
4.2
Fantastic and beautiful location. Comfortable public areas. Good spa.
Bedroom a bit small.
4.2
The room had a nice view over the golf course. The garden was well set out and the weather made it a pleasure to sit outside with a drink.
The room was smaller than anticipated. The bathroom and bath (with shower over) were very small and it was difficult to get in and out without hitting the heated towel rail. The room was really stuffy and even with the window open we couldn't cool it down. Had trouble buying drinks in the garden as my credit card didn't seem to register with their till, took some time and effort to resolve.

Hotel is dog friendly, staff do their best to make stay enjoyable, rooms were fantastic with incredible views of the golf course. Would highly recommend a stay.

The food and restaurant
No people to help for baggage
The service is no good in a reception
4.2
beautiful location and stunning views
rooms are old and tired and need some help. I think the age of the building their is not much you can do! the bathroom is so old fashioned and it was like a room from the 80’s. Also far to warm and struggled to sleep! staff after 11 were no to happy when asking for a drink at the bar which is unfortunate.

The hotel offered a possibility of early check-in, which was very handy. The front desk also offered us personalised recommendations for our stay.
The room was comfortable and cosy. It was quite small, so handy that we didn't plan to spend a lot of time there. There were robes and tea/coffee facilities in the room as well as a minibar. There was also an iron and an umbrella, so handy we didn't need to specifically ask for these things.
We particularly enjoyed hotel swimming pool facilities - great pool opening hours and quite good options for sauna/ steam room in a limited space!
Breakfast was great too! Buffet and warm food options available and staff is very nice and attentive.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and will hopefully we back again :)
The room was very warm, and the tiny window was not very helpful. We realised that the heat was due to bathroom fan no working and although we reported it, we didn't hear about it (we only stayed one night, so not much time).
4.2
Lovely quiet location with easy access to beach and town. Very comfortable beds and spacious room. Great breakfast.
The bar food was disappointing.
4.2
Perfect location, with views tother sea. Super comfy beds and a fabulous breakfast. All staff were extremely helpful and smiley. And spa facilities were great, it was lovely to have a swim before breakfast.
There was a dog on our floor which you could hear bark sometimes, and room to door heavy so made noise, at 4am. Apart from that it was a great stay. I would definitely return

Lovely hotel in a stunning location. Friendly staff and a huge room. Really enjoyed our stay.
They were perhaps a little short staffed which made the wait for drinks sometimes a little long but all the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
