There was mould on the toast. I was informed that it would be checked from now on. I said it should have been checked all along. Just like the pubs, sell the slops instead of giving it back. No free lunch even and no apology from the real manager.

Location and breakfast and carparking. Staff nice too. I had dinner in bar also. Very good.

A jack hammer drilling 5m outside the dinning room was not what you wanted at breakfast.

Nice hotel

Bed were very comfortable, Breakfast was lovely, staff were very friendly.

Me and husband Didn't get sleep till 1.30am as there was band playing downstairs till then . it was very load I taught it would wake up our 2 boys but thankfully it didn't.

nice clean hotel rooms are comfortable, food is exceptional but poor service from staff.

The food was lovely dinner and breakfast they have an exceptional chef.

The inexperienced young bar and floor staff. they really didn’t have a clue on how to provide professional service. walking past tables full of empty glasses, bringing down the wrong drinks, having to be called over! even when you could clearly see them standing around. The hotel itself is lovey but more training on customer service should be provided to the staff as they are the face of the hotel and unfortunately for us they didn’t make us want to come back.

Great stay, a bit too short. Next time i will stay a bit longer if i can.

Great location, easy walk in to the town. Breakfast was great.

We have stayed in 4-star hotels that were a lot less satisfactory.

Everything was great. The informality of the breakfast room was welcome. The quietness of the area our room was in was another plus. The beds could not have been comfier. There was a lovely and natural atmosphere in the hotel throughout our stay that was so nice to be part of.

Maybe fresh orange juice for breakfast rather than concentrated?

Ideal location for us, first time we've stayed but have been there on many occasions. Meals were good

Unable to turn off the heated towel rail on the hottest day of the year. No view from the window and early morning wake up call from bins being emptied. Unable to book 2 nights so had to stay elsewhere for one night, Shower head was very high on the wall, difficult to adjust for a smaller person

Breakfast was good. Fresh eggs cooked to your liking. Fresh toast from a proper toaster - not the production line broiler. Good quality bacon and sausage.

Bar closed at 11 because that's when the Rona comes out.
