room was clean and had nicer furnishings since a few years ago

no atmosphere no facilities except for tea coffee for the price it needs staff and somewhere to eat makes it disappointing as it's the only hotel in town price is just spiked without giving any extras

Location.

Hot water coming out of cold tap.....no explanation given. Noisy power system at night. Sash window wouldn't stay open. Bed very soft. Expensive for what was on offer.

Lovely accommodation right in the heart of Louisburgh village. Lots to see and do in the area.

Self check in was easy, location was perfect for our stay.

The bathroom could do with somewhere to put down toiletries etc.

The room was very small. The price of €130 was very expensive, and many locals expressed shock. For that price, it was very disappointing that there wasn't even a bottle of water in the room.

Peaceful, central, clear information given for a comfortable stay

It was clean and comfortable and fucntional. Very little staff visibility but all instructions were clear and rooms checked with fresh towels etc each day.

Slighlty procier than I believed but not a major gripe.

Lovely little place.

This is a self serve accommodation. When I went to my room the key did not work. So I called the number on the information email. The lady (I'm horrible with remembering names) answered the phone and came straight down. I was in my room in minutes, she then brought me an extension lead for my cpap machine, and made me a reservation for Gafneys restaurant. It was a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend.

I was already aware of this but a breakfast option would be nice.

Small, uncomfortable room, bare minimum services, no amenities, and an unpleasant staff.

The accommodations were bare minimum. No on-site staff. No food, drink, or other amenities. The room was small and stuffy, the bed uncomfortable. The bath fan came crashing to the floor, a sign of poor workmanship or maintenance. We moved out after one night and they charged us for all four nights booked, refusing to offer even a partial refund. We ended up in a lovely, full service hotel, with a large, comfortable room and all amenities, and breakfast included, for about the same cost as this dump.

Good experience overall but let down with some of the details.

Central location. Clean, comfortable, and spacious room. Instructions for self-check-in were clear and easy to follow.

Over-reliance on non-sustainable products and single-use plastics was disappointing and in certain cases, unnecessary; for instance, a plastic spoon. Non-compostable disposal takeaway cups with the kettle.
