The location is magnificent (although hard to get there) and the staff is super friendly. Breakfast was good. Be aware that the drive up resp. the walk up is challenging.
I expected the facilities in the room to be more up to date. There was no kettle in order to make some coffee or tea. No small table in order to place some items.

The view is AMAZING! The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The food at dinner is EXCELLENT and the menu changes daily so you will get a new experience daily. All staff speak English well.
It's not the Ritz, but it's quiet and comfortable. And very clean!

We had an extremely nice stay over four nights at the Borgo san Rocco. The owner(s) and the whole staff of the hotel and the restaurant have been very, very friendly, supportive, and generous (e.g., a splendid salad and wine for lunch). We had dinner at the restaurant on all four days (which speaks for itself) and we enjoyed perfect starters, pasta, risotto and sea food. There was always good mood among all people being present, so obviously everyone was enjoying the stay very much. It is a bit of adventure to drive up the narrow roads of Savoca, but it is perfectly doable. Be sure to follow the advice of the hotel about how to drive to the resort. If you follow, e.g., the Google navigation you will end up in a road which is impossible to drive on (we made a hike along this road and because of this know what we are talking about). The hotel staff sends you information about this prior to your arrival and so it can be easily avoided.

The staff was awesome! Also the view is stunning! If you have a chance to meet with Mr. Vittorio, don’t miss it!
Prepare for a very hard travel if you arrive by car!
If you use GPS, only set Savoca as destination, and from the center follow the signs!

Wonderful location, quite tricky driving there, must use small car, very steep paths to negotiate ! Quite unique, the owner joined us foe an impromptu lunch where passers by were welcomed at no cost!! Not like any other hotel. The location is fabulous once you get there!

Fabulous stay - we have travelled all over Italy & found this place really something special. The hotel is located at the top of the hill, with a super cute & very unique narrow cobblestone street leading up to it. The food at the restaurant is fabulous & the staff make you literally feel like you're staying with family. We enjoyed the pool even in October & the views were spectacular. A very cool Italian experience. We will be back.

I could not recommend this place enough! Very clean, well equipped, beautiful beautiful idyllic surroundings! The views are breathtaking! Just going there and staying there is a vacation in itself! The staff are the nicest of people...beautiful homely people... 'Ciao cara' every morning from the reception with smiles on their faces, they gave attention to all details e.g. the cleaning staff also folded bits of clothes for us that we left outside, kitchen staff and reception all made sure I had access to all the facilities and food I needed especially since I am a diabetic, waiting staff very curteous! It was especially great to have dinner there in the evening.. the food prepared by the inhouse chef daily is just exquisite. Menu is varied and food is always fresh, with good quality ingredients... and a large selection of good wines were made available to us! The owner Vittorio stays for dinner and goes around tables making guests feel welcome, pouring wine, chatting and also offering food to taste. Breakfast is also a 10/10 too. They provided us with freshly baked warm bread every morning accompanied by a varied spread which included home made items such as jams, cakes and marmalades. They also provide sugar free and gluten free options which I found to be very kind since they cater for people with conditions like me.
The place is 5 min away from Savoca centre which is a lovely stroll! There is also a pool and chillout area which is such a treat in a holiday in Sicily.
My husband and I will definitely return to this Borgo. By the end of our stay all the staff became our friends... just beautiful Sicilian hospitality, beautiful place and beautiful people! Will definitely return! Grazie Mille ❤️❤️❤️

Breakfast was excellent as was the choice of evening meal. The staff were amazing and very friendly. The situation of the hotel was magnificent, a real treasure. The roads are VERY narrow, so either a taxi or very small car is ideal.
I needed to stay longer.

Savoca is a medieval city and the resort is amazing - service is excellent, friendly, always with a smile and going out of their way to make your stay exceptional. Breakfast is equally efficient and all items were fresh . Special thank you to Francesca and the team for making our family holiday special and memorable! Our baby daughter also loved it especially the croissants:) We will definitely be back !

some walking up and down to see the surrounding village, for us ok, but some people would find it too much

the location of the property in the mountainous village of Savoca is exceptional. The view extends on the sea as well as the mountain. The staff and Vittorio, the owner, are very friendly and kind.
It is a bit outdated.

Borgo San Rocco is a very special resort and location. Everyone here from the owner, his family, the staff are such wonderful people, and as a result they attract wonderful guests. From the first minute I arrived until the final farewell I felt like one of the family. I can’t wait to return x

Incredible setting, perched on the edge of a steep hillside with expansive views of the coast and coastal valleys. Extremely romantic setting. In fact, as we approached, there was a wedding reception that had spilled out on the the lane in front of the hotel, blocking our way to parking. Dancing with a Sicilian band playing. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and made you feel like family. The staff occupied the adjacent table at dinner. We were told that our rooms had been upgraded, as I believe the standard rooms may have experienced some flooding due to recent heavy rain. Our very clean rooms had expansive views. One room was somewhat larger than a standard size and the other was very large. The beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were small with small showers. The setting was spectacular and very quiet. The restaurant was very good for dinner and breakfast. Wifi was faster than average. There was a pool at the bottom of the hotel site. A very good value for such a uniquely spectacular setting.
We reserved standard rooms, but were told that we were upgraded upon arrival. One room was very large and the other was a slightly larger than average size. We can't comment on the standard rooms however.

The location is stunning, the setting is calm and authentic, and the food is superb (local wines, local food very well prepared). The staff is super friendly.
Just a mention, the road to the Resort is very small and winding, don't hire/use a big car to get there

Beautiful views, with a strong Sicilian feel to the place and the poeple. A special place
Vittore. Francesca have a way of making you feel like you’re family. We were sad to leave not for the place or the holiday, but because they’re the most genuine and kind people. Be ready to make some fresh pasta with the team. The food is excellent!

We had an exceptional stay at Borgo San Rocco. It started with the warmest welcome from Francesca and Vittorio (with COVID guidlines) - the staff are just the best! You could not ask for better service and feel they have invited you into their home. Our room was beautiful, with stunning views over the valley. The restaurant and food were incredible and some of the best pasta he had in Sicily. Not to mention the wine! We loved every moment and will most certainly be back. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

There are no right words to describe this place and amazing staff. The views are breathtaking and food is excellent (they change menu every day). We travel quite a lot, but never experienced such hospitality before. Since it was our honeymoon, they even made a special cake for us!
All in all, we loved everything about this place - you must stay here and experience it yourself! Definitely one of the best places in Sicily and we will come back for sure.
That we only stayed 2 nights!
