Uwielbiam śniadania w hotelu, każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie, a ciasteczka z jagodami najlepsze na świecie. Z tarasu piękny widok by siedzieć z popołudniową kawą lub wieczornym drinkiem

Beautiful surroundings, highly recommending. Close by car to different attractions. On spot there is outside grill.
Small choice of vegetarian dishes. Otherwise we would spend more days at this place.

Very nice staff, helpful and kind. Lovely view from the terrace during breakfast. Very calm area for relaxing hiking and enjoying nature. Breakfast was delicious

Location and the view. And that's basically all.
I was offered 100 euro compensation for all the bad situations that occured during our stay. But that will not buy my silence. People deserve to know how this place is managed. That is not a "castle" at all and definitely not a friendly place.
First of all we had a very unpleasent (and that is quite a soft word) situation with the staff. During the first breakfast I asked if it would be possible to make a scrambled eggs. I travel a lot, like really a lot, and usually if you lack anything for breakfast, staff asks if they can help you in anyway. At Hotel Janovicky not only they don't. They will deny it. I had to ask FIVE times for it, and each time I got a very negative and rude "no" for an answer. Finally I managed to get one. But my mood was very broken for the day, because of the attitude of that person towards me. Another day, same situation. With addition: I was lectured about my attitude, behaviour and I was told that my request "is not normal". That, actually, is not something to be expected. During hotel stays, you pay not only for the place to sleep and stay, but also for the general atmosphere, support from hotel's staff, lack of problems and generally a piece of mind. You will get none at that place. Moreover, every other request that we had during breakfast, was denied. No more melons? You ask staff (politely) to bring some. You get "no". Bread out? No! Cheese? No! Anything? No! Why? Because! And that's it. The breakfast itself is very monotonous, and low quality. The coffee is instant. Staff rude and arrogant.
Soundproof walls are a fiction. Those are so thin, that you can basically hear every sound from other rooms. You can hear your neighbours talking, walking and doing other things. Why mention that in the description, if you have quite the opposite?
Rooms are very spartan. You get bed, wardrobe and that's it. All the materials are the lowest quality possible. Same as bathroom. Walls are dirty, space small and limited. Forget about the place to rest or put your luggage. You will not receive any additional equipment to the room, even if you ask for it. There is literally ONE kettle for the entire hotel.
Reception is always empty.

The hotel with its panoramic view was absolutely enchanting. Breathtaking vistas greeted me at every turn. The attentive staff and serene surroundings made my stay unforgettable. A true gem for those seeking a captivating experience.
4.2
Beautiful view from the restaurant balcony. One can sit there and enjoy the whole day.
Friendly staff serving breakfast and working in a restaurant.
Clean room at arrival and regular cleaning during our 1-week stay.
I appreciated multiple pillows.
I was expecting a bigger choice for breakfast.
Some meals, main courses, were tasty, some disappointing. Pancakes (chosen by kids) do not recommend - no taste, hard like old shoe soles.
Too tough beds.
The room was for 4 people, but there was no table in the room to play a game or entertain.

I really liked the staff, they were very friendly. The restaurant design and food quality was unexpectedly excellent. :)
Unfortunately next to my room there were staying guests with very small baby, crying for hours. Even the ANC headset was not enough. I am aware thst it was a very poor judgement of the other guests to travel in such situation to a hotel and not a separate appartment.
Though the noise came through the door. The walls were isolated perfectly and if the room door had a bit isolation too, then it would be enough.

The staff was fantastic. Very helpful, polite and professional. We liked the location - close to nature and with great view of the mountains. Food was delicious. Room service did good job.
The room could be a bit bigger, we felt a little bit uncomfortable with little room for our baby to crawl around. Checkin hours could be more flexible because 9pm as the latest possible was quite a challenge to make.
4.2
Nice secluded location. Nice view from the large deck. I would call the breakfast adequate. The staff was nice.
We had a very small room which was not a problem. There wasn't enough room for any chairs or tables. But there was a large free-standing closet, somewhat oversized. I believe that they could redo the room/s so they could include other furniture. We had one dinner at their restaurant. It was good but not exceptional. Very few choices. Slightly overpriced but this is a secluded place so it is understandable.

View from terrace (spoilt by derelict gardens)
Uncomfortable bed. No tea or coffee making facility in room. Repetitive and low quality breakfast. General poorly furnished room. Staff were polite but not really interested in solving problems.
4.2
Really good breakfast, very kind staff - especially waiter who was very adorable and hard working person. Perfect view from the terrace and really nice dining area. Very clean room and bathroom.
If this hotel will be just starting point for activities outside - it's perfect, otherwise room which we were renting, will be too small to spend some time in it. WiFi was cut from time to time.

the location
a sauna would be nice

The breakfast is exceptional. It's amazingly variable fresh and tasty. The common space inside is similar to the castle with high ceilings and wonderful cosy atmosphere at the same time. Stuff here are very polite and intelligent. Great fireplace makes warm and pleasure in the evening. In addition the hotel stays in a super picturesque place which gives awesome view from all the windows

Beautiful location, good breakfast
They promised good filter or espresso coffee for breakfast but all we got was instant coffee. They didn't even switch on the espresso machine. Restaurant was rather average and quite expensive.

An Excellent location, great service, extremely friendly and professional service!
Nothing. My son thinks amazing.
4.2
Not many meals for vegans/vegetarians. No possibility for kitchen to make for breakfast other meals than prepared before (no pancakes, no scrambled eggs, etc)

Amazing staff! Wonderful stay before a long hike. Definitely coming back
