Lugar agradável

O local é bonito, fica na zona rural e tem vista para o castelo. Café da manhã bom. Quarto confortável. Atendente atenciosa. Perfeito para conhecer Monsaraz.

Não tem um local definido para a recepção. Tive que preencher o formulário em cima de um banco. Com mala, bolsa, tudo meio atrapalhado.

Very good

The location is lovely, peaceful and beautiful gardens. The breakfast was excellent Marcia was very friendly and helpful The shower was great.

The internet was horribly slow We couldn't get the tv to work, it didn't really matter though.

Nice quiet property, served an excellent breakfast!

Great location to Monsaraz, which we loved. The lady that greeted us on arrival & organised breakfast was excellent. Very Clean property & the fridge & kettle in room was welcomed.

A little cool in the evenings as no heaters came on at all and it was February! We did have a very large room so maybe a smaller would have been not so cool.

Adequate but not 4 star for sure

Was OK but obviously cheapest products from Lidl. Could have been nicer regional products. Scrambled eggs cooked to order were well made

Bed was uncomfortable and horrible nylon sheets were unpleasant. Clearly the hotel is not being run as a going concern at the moment. But ok for the price I guess

Could be a fantastic place, if only they fixed some easy things.

Big, confortable, and nicely decorated rooms. Amazing location and views, nice gardens and architecture, relaxed atmosphere. Kind and helpful staff. Good breakfast.

1. We got the 4 people suite, with two beds on an upper level that is accessible by stairs. But the ceiling is so low in the upper level that our kids kept bumping with their heads against the ceiling. Very annoying. 2. Even worse, the staircase is very, very unsafe for kids, especially at night. Very dangerous. 3. The Wifi never worked for any of us and the staff did not seem to care much about it. It's unacceptable that they advertise free wifi, which never works. Very frustrating. 4. No free access to kitchen facilities. A simple microwave makes a big difference when you have kids. The staff was always available to open the kitchen for us when needed, but we were always dependent on them. I don't understand why they just don't leave it open (as other places do). Or just put some microwaves in the rooms, there is plenty of space. 5. It's a bit silly that the watering system starts working automatically at 20.00 with no warning. Bad luck if tou are laying in the garden (yes, it happened to us) or seating nearby. We cannot even have dinner outside at that time. Afterwards, everything is wet, cannot walk in the garden anymore. Why don't they just do it early in the morning like all other places?

Amazing location and views of the castle. Very tranquil, beautiful gardens. The room was very comfortable and clean. Great swimming pool. The staff were absolutely brilliant. Super friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast. Looking forward to come back again.

Very good

It was ok the local restaurant mentioned was permanently closed so it was a car drive to restaurants which we were trying to avoid. Also the complex is on the for sale market so the maintenance or lack of is starting to show. Staff were great!

Very good

Great location with views up to the castle at Monsaraz. Lovely garden and pretty room. The breakfast room was full of beautiful artwork and the breakfast was good. Teresa was friendly and most helpful in arranging a taxi to take us into Monsaraz.

Unfortunately we had a problem with ants in our room. The beds also creaked. This was a shame otherwise a lovely peaceful, stay.

To bad for the bed

Exceptional location right below Monsaraz castle. Near all interesting points of Alqueva. The local is quiet with everything thing you need for a few days of rest, although the time wasn't good he as a small pool for relaxing in the sun. The breakfast was good with a lot of local products ... specially the oranges

The room was nice, with space and a small place near the window we can relax. Unfortunately the bed was so stiff we could be sleeping in the floor that wouldn't make a difference

Exceptional

This hotel is a gem. It is a quiet comfortable place to stay, very close to Monsaraz. The room was clean and cozy and the staff were very hospitable. A variety of food was provided for breakfast. The breakfast room also offered a feast for the eyes. There are various paintings and sculptures to enjoy while having your breakfast. The outside garden is pretty and offers space for meditation and simply enjoying the peacefulness of the surroundings.

We had a nice stay in this wonderful place, very calm and quiet. Rooms are clean and well decorated, nice garden and swimming pool Good breakfast in a pleasant place, Strongly recommended!

The location is absolutely relaxing and Teresa puts lot of effort in helping guests to feel home! The outer space is perfect to rest and enjoy the slow vibe of the area.

Some details are a bit of an old style, but I reckon is a personal taste which doesn’t affect the value of the place

Nice property staff very friendly, clean, excellent breakfast. The garden and surrounding areas well kept.Rooms nicely arranged. We recommend it.

Perfect for a staff near Monsaraz

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, very very nice pool and gardens, great views, easy parking, easy for zimmer frame users. Large room

No curtains in the bedroom, but there were shutters we could close if we moved something things around. A very minor thing.

Good location and pleasant property. Staff was helpful and with good solution for breakfast, at a time of some pandemic restrictions.

We stayed at a Junior Suit with an extra bed, which was extremely squeaky and with poor bed sheeting - not recommended at all. Main bed was OK.
