Beautiful place, peaceful. Stunning view from the room. Very comfortable large room and bathroom. The staff was fantastic, and breakfast amazing. Great value for money and location just perfect. Easy parking just next to the Palacio. Smooth check-in despite our late arrival, and overall really great service.
This is very personal. Being used to sleep in darkness, the curtains in the room let in too much light for me. The room got also very hot and the only option to cool it down is air conditioning which isn't for me, I prefer ceiling fans. But overall still an amazing experience!

Beautiful period property, quiet and in a lovely part of town. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

The hotel is in a good location with some free street parking outside or two large car parks just a few metres walk away from the front door.
The location is nice as you can easily walk into Arta which has several bars and restraunts, art studios, shops, a supermarket and a lovely town square.
As most travellers will have rented a car to get here its a great location for exploring the many beaches from Pollenca, about 1 hour drive away all the way along the coast to Porto Cristo. Road network here is very good. Easy access, 20 minute drive, to some great restaurants and bars in other nearby villages, Capdepera, Canyamel, Son Servera.
Breakfast could have been better, pastries tended to run out quickly, only realised we could ask for some cooked items like eggs and bacon at the end of our stay. Sometimes only 1 waitress was on duty and during the busier breakfast time, 09:40 through to 10:15 they were often very busy, making coffees, cooking hot items.

Nice relaxed ambiance and sense of space due to high ceilings.
Property looks a little tired.
Apart from breakfast time , it was unpredictable when you might find a staff member/manager to answer a question.

We extended our trip to Mallorca after I’d read about the Palacio San Salvador, & we were so glad we’d stayed. Great art in the hotel, huge rooms, & excellent location at the top of the hill. The road to the national park is right there too. While in Arta we made a brief trip to Parc Natural, & we biked the Via Verde. Our room, & this unique hotel with comfy lounging areas, was excellent for relaxing after a day of hiking or biking.

The hotel was perfectly located, there always a huge public parking directly across the road. The rooms were comfortable and large and the bathroom was huge. Bathroom had a jacuzzi bath and a huge walk in shower, had bathrobes and a hair dryer and a safe. Bedroom had a minibar and glasses and bottle opener, small things but that really make a difference.

The place is very quiet. The design is quite unique and interesting but might not be for everyone (it's done in "old" style or like if you are in a museum, I loved it). Very friendly and flexible staff, comfortable rooms, amazing bathtub:)

Romantiic place where you feel like a king. Very kind owner who helped us when we needed a doctor and forgave us for losing keys. BIG THANKS! We will be glad to come back.

stunning and tasteful but not overwhelmingly so!
service was very slow during the one night we stayed in for dinner. as a consequence we weren’t tempted to eat in the following night. the manager/owner should have been out explaining why/apologizing. the waiter was however incredibly friendly and professional and did his best. this was surprising given how good everything else was.

We were looking for a short break from our home in Palma. Room was large and well decorated, bed extremely comfortable. Property has a number of good features.
When we arrived, hotel appeared to be closed, no staff visible, tables in central terrace clustered together. Eventually found a staff member who spoke no English (fortunately I speak Spanish), who called younger man to take bags to room.
Room was pleasant enough, and I wasn't looking for defects but these jumped out as soon as we got settled in:
1 paint cracks on ceiling above bed
2 paint at head of bed peeling
3 bedside chandeliers missing crystals
4 right window shutters did not close properly
5 toilet seat missing rubber bumper
6 tap continually dripping
The grounds are pleasant, with great potential, however like the rest of the hotel could do with attention (garden overgrown, tables lacking decor...)
Honesty bar was fair - but could benefit from having staff to add atmosphere. On first night the brandy I had after dinner was the last in the bottle. I mentioned this to the owner next morning, but it had not been replaced that evening. The ice cube freezer smelled musty, and contained a bag and ice bucket of partially melted and refrozen cubes. I took some from a fresh bag.
Given the abundance of quality produce in Mallorca, breakfast was disappointing - appearing instead to have been sourced from a budget German supermarket. The cheeses were indistinguishable and icy cold, whilst the embutidos were equally poor - the jamon being stringy and definitely not a Serrano or Iberico. We elected not to take it on day 2 - however on check out the bill showed both days. When I asked for it to be removed, the owner asked me why and I told him, he reluctantly reduced to one day.
Overall, potentially a wonderful hotel, but everywhere giving the impression that management have just given up after the Covid years. As I worked in the industry I had planned to share my comments with the owner, but given the response to comments on breakfast this was not an option.

The Hotel has a very nice design. old, a variety of plants. Also, the stuff is very relax. You can serve yourself with everything. . They have restaurant fin the weekend, cuban food and delicious cocktails.
The breakfast was good, but didn t exist variety. Maybe some renovations it s necessary.

The rooms are enormous, including the bathrooms, they are very private and we couldn't hear any of the other guests from our room. Staff are friendly and attentive if you need something. The Palacio is well restored and retains much, if not most, of its old 19th century charm. The immediate vicinity is quiet and easy to get to (a short, simple drive around the edge of town rather than having to navigate the maze of narrow medieval streets). Breakfast was a cold buffet with a good selection of cold meats, cheese, some cereals, different sorts of bread and you can order eggs of your choice from the kitchen.
Can't think of anything about hotel I didn't like, the bed was a little too soft for me - but that is personal preference, the only thing we found is that Arta itself is a little isolated - not right on a beach (not that we are huge beach people anyway) and quite a distance to the Serre de Tramuntana - our fault, snap decision to go and our first time on Majorca meant we stayed on the wrong side of the island for us, hence my less than perfect location rating.

our stay at the Palacio Sant Salvador was lovely. The property is beautiful with lots of attention to detail. Our room was large and comfortable and the service from our host was warm and gracious. Breakfast both in the quality of food and the attentive service was also very much appreciated.

The room and building, location. Decor.
Nothing not to like. If I could think of something to add it would be a kettle and tea and coffee in room.

Beautiful rooms, hotel and grounds with all sorts of original and unique furnishings and great architecture. Hosts were friendly and helpful and the garden/pool area and restaurant were lovely. The location is fantastic, right by the castle/fortress and easy reach of everywhere else.
Sometimes there was no-one on reception or no-one that spoke much English - if this is the case it would be good at least to know which times it is possible to contact people. Also a shame the restaurant is closed Sunday/Monday (particularly if that's your arrival day and that's also when other places nearby are closed!)

The best place by far! Beautiful house, huge rooms, lovely and helpful staff.

Breakfast was the best we had during our holiday.

The location was fabulous and the rooms very large.
They should have placed a notice on booking regarding the fact that the building in front of our hotel room was under construction! They started drilling and hammering at 7am each morning and continued all day. The windows where not double glazed and it was as if they where inside the room as it was so loud! :( This made it impossible to sleep in or relax in the room. Looks as if it will be going on for a full year. The mattresses are very old, the pillows cheap and the sheets tatty which left us with bad back pain. They could not provide a double sheet even though it was a double bed. when asked for one. Basically would have been a lovely hotel with a bit of updating and care, sadly now it has lost all its charm from lack of caring about the guests.

The recepyion gentleman Chris (I hope I got the name right!( was extremely hospitable. I booked the room for work meetings as my personal wifi was not working. Chris was very understanding and gave me a room where a excellent connection was assured. There was also no lunch in the cafeteria that day but he got me some snacks arranged. Thank you for the great stay and I would recommend highly this hotel and staff!
