The facility was lovely, Jorge is a very kind host with whom I had the chance to have a lovely morning chat along with my breakfast that I ordered one day in advance. the design of the rooms, the amenities, everything was so well thought. I found everything I could have asked for.

A unique location designed and built by the owner, Jorge, who is an exceptional architect. All the rooms are circular with a Mayan flavor. Every morning was a different breakfast, cooked and served by Manuela who was wonderful as were the meals.

Probably my favorite place we stayed in Mexico. Quiet, relaxing and really unique room. Also a short walk to anywhere we needed to go. The host was great and was able to share his local knowledge.

Excellent choice!

Cute place, away from the hustle and bustle of the cruise ships, but not too far away to go out and enjoy the day/night, friendly staff. Kids liked staying in Repunzel’s tower and a great place to hunker down during giant thunderstorms!

the room was beautiful, the staff was super friendly and there is an option for a breakfast for 5 American dollars that I would recommend. The location was great, not right on the main strip but close to anything you would want.

The design is beautiful. The rooms are quirky. Lovely staff and good breakfast.
No fly screens and lots of open places. Not enough light in the room.

Design of the room is awesome! We were in the upper room with view, some kind of penthouse in the tower. Some basic kitchen equipment and lots of space. First shower in Mexico with some real waterpressure. Super service, the optional huge breakfast for 120pesos was every day different and self made and very good. Even cleaning service each day. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and can really recommend it!

This place was amazing. We didn’t really know what to expect but decided to go ahead and book it based on the excellent reviews and were not disappointed. The bungalow we stayed in was lovely, much homier than the other places we stayed in during our 3 week tour of Yucatan. Jorge and Arancia are so kind and provided us with excellent recommendations on what to do on Cozumel. The bed was comfortable, the lobby area really nice and water was provided.
Really nothing to say, I highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

We stayed at Amaranto for two nights and could have definitely stayed even longer as we really liked it here. The room was very spacious and furnished with an eye for detail as was the whole place. You can tell that the owner (Jorge) is an architect and has designed the place with passion. It’s harder to see on the pictures but it’s a really beautiful place. Everything was very clean and a big plus: the bed was super comfortable.
We met the owners when we had breakfast (recommend the breakfast too, it’s freshly prepared every morning and is a Mexican breakfast with fruit, coffee and juice) and they were super friendly. It was fun chatting with them and they can also give you good tips about the island.
check in was also very easy, our room was available early so we already got the keys and Jorge was available via What’s App for any questions.
The location is nice as well, you can easily walk to the „center“ and there is plenty of restaurants nearby.
wifi was not the best but that wouldn’t stop us from coming back again :)

a very cool property with nice rooms located 5-10 mins walk from the main part of Cozumel.

The room is round so it's different.
The place is really run down and half unbuilt. There are only three rooms and mine was not a bungalow. The windows of the room had no blinds so people could see through. It is not as pictured in booking.

Charming cozy place. I stayed for 3 nights. Room is comfortable. Air cond is strong and cold. Location is good, not too far from the main square and the ferry terminal (about 10 mins walk). There is a good seafood restaurant nearby call Indio’s. You should try it. I had it twice.
The hotel is nicely decorated. All in all, two thumbs up.

I loved everything about my stay at Amaranto Bed + Breakfast. It’s a little haven just a few blocks back from the main tourist drag and quick walk from the ferries. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and so peaceful. Jirge is the ultimate host too. I enjoyed not only all his recommendations for things to see and do and places to eat (don’t miss New Especias + Chela Nah!) but also the daily chats with him as well. My stay was one of the highlights of my three weeks of traveling in Mexico.

Jorge the owner was very nice and accommodating. We had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, tv room, and dining room. It was very secure.
We have travelled internationally before and prefer to support local businesses. Though we have stayed in all-inclusive resorts before, that isn’t our preference. Jorge is s self-made entrepreneur, born and raised in northern Mexico, and worthy of support. We are glad to have supported a self-employed person rather than support a multinational corporation.
The layout of the place was a little odd, with multiple exit points, all with their own key. But this issue did not cause any problems for us.
