Amazing stay

It's location is unbeatable. The staff (Delroy) was super nice and provided us with amazing recommendations (food, tours, etc). We would definitely come back!

Soggiorno tranquillo fuori dalla movida

Camere spaziose e ben climatizzate, bagno rimodernato con ottima doccia calda. Funzionale il noleggio delle biciclette che permettono di raggiungere il centro del paese.

Odore di fogna negli spazi esterni e proveniente dagli scarichi, mancanza della prima colazione, posizione defilata rispetto ai bar e ristoranti del paese. La spiaggia non è balneabile come del resto in tutta Caye Caulker.

Charmant petit hôtel tranquille en bord de plage

L’emplacement un peu en retrait du centre est parfait pour avoir de la tranquillité. Les lits sont confortables et on apprécie le frigo dans les chambres. Très bon rapport qualité/prix.

La connexion WiFi est difficile à capter dans les chambres. Certains équipements auraient besoin d’entretien, comme l’abri au centre des lieux. Les chaises longues bénéficieraient de coussins

Belize Beach

Situated on the beach the location is just wonderful. a 5-10 minute walk to main area of shops and restaurants which we preferred wanting early nights. The staff were fantastic and helped in everyway possible.

Slightly older property but the price reflects this.

Strong constant sewer gas like smell made an otherwise very good stay, unpleasant.

corner room balcony beach view, excellent air conditioner, comfy king size bed, couch in room quiet, helpful staff, 10 minute beach walk to restaurants, etc.

strong sewer gas type of smell in bathroom and outdoor surroundings was a powerful negative, locks tricky to operate, no safe in room but staff held our things for safe-keeping, upholstered chair in room badly stained, asked for but didn't get more hangers.

They were rebuilding a shoreline bulkhead. This restricted use of the shoreline and created noise during the day.

Superb

Pretty ok place, spacious and clean room with balcony, but the venue itself is a bit outdated. Nice people working there, the place is a bit further from the main part of the island (still walking distance along the beach) - if you are looking for more relaxed and calm area, it will be perfect.

Has the potential to be paradise but sadly only mediocre

Really liked the generous balcony, the large room, the sea view and the frontline location

The place is ‘okay’ but wasn’t quite as advertised in our opinion. For example, the ‘beach’ is not really a beach, it’s gravel and there is a wall rather than a shoreline so water access is only via the pier. Also, it feels like very public. There is a pier (or ‘dock’ as they call it) which belongs to the hotel but it’s a very public facility and whilst the local kids are cute, the adults made us feel we were invading their space and the vibe was definitely not conducive to relaxing. The staff, whilst very pleasant, were in no way forthcoming with doing anything helpful for us (other than trying to push for tour bookings) so for example we’d have to ask for sun beds to be put out and drag them out ourselves. We checked if the pier was supposed to be for guests only and they confirmed it was but never did anything to stop it being used by everyone, despite us highlighting to them. The manager was frequently doing other noisy tasks in the main shared area such as vehicle maintenance which again was a turn-off for us in what would otherwise have been an idyllic setting (sitting watching the sea with reviving engines and metal grinding is not a good combo). Overall it was apparent that the hotel and grounds were not being kept up anywhere near as well as most hotels we observed on the island.

If it wasn’t for my family I would had stay 😊🤭

The beach right outside, I was obsessed could watch the sunrise every single morning.

My only wish is that the restaurant in the facility was open. But I don’t know it’s currently close. There’s definitely tons of other restaurants and near by but I did wish at time that I could order right from the pool without leaving the hotel.

A wonderful stay for a week

We spent a week here and had a wonderful time. The staff was kind and welcoming. Beach towels and laundry were provided for an additional (but fair) cost. Room was very nice and spacious.

Side note: these aren't deal breaking remarks in our opinion but weren't the most favoured. The shower's water pressure isn't the best but manageable (maybe this is a problem found in the entire island). Towels provided in room are at times a bit outdated. The location was a bit further from than main area (the northern part of the main island) than we first anticipated (but at least you get to see much of the island).

Nice and quiet stay at the beach

on the beach and fantastic vieuw big and clean room. very quiet and nice outside with chairs 700 meter to restaurants

there was seaweed but is not always there.

Everything you need for a perfect beach trip.

Rooms were clean with good AC. Property is on the water with a pier. Water was beautiful.

Exceptional

Place was clean, right on the ocean with private dock, and be sure to chat with Keith and Delroy, the manager and maintenance guy. They'll take care of you for sure! Amazing stay!

Apart from the location being quiet and the compound kept very clean,all else was a disappointment.

There was no breakfast at the resort,i requested a room with two beds,but when i arrive i was given a room with a king size bed.The lock on the door was not working properly and i had difficulty entering my room also the TV did not work.

I didn't like that the room i requested when i made my reservationwas was not made available to me,that would have made my stay more enjoyable.

We had a great time at Anchorage Beach Resort. The staff was gentle and responded to all of our questions and concerns.

I liked the ocen view. Just a few blocks from restaurants and bars.

The internet was a little bit weak.

Could be better

The property is quiet and well maintained outside. The mattress was good.

They don’t have anything available to buy on site. There was a sign saying that coffee was available in the office but the two mornings we tried to get a cup of coffee their door was locked. When we were able to ask about it they didn’t have an answer. Bathroom had some issues. A very slow toilet flow and a dirty tub. Also there was a cockroach roaming our bedroom floor.
