The location & room were very good. The attention and the availability of the property's stuff to answer questions, help with any problem that came up etc. was exceptional!
Everything was OK.

The staff is very very sweet and helpful, the room is great, and the AC is so good. Wi-Fi is excellent. Balcony was very nice. Even though the pool is small we had it all to our selfs.
The whole beach stinks of seaweed, and this can be smelled from the room balcony. In general the beach is kinda dirty and has dog feces at lot of places. This hotel is very good, but If you expect a beach-vacation San Pedro will disappoint, as it is dirty and not well suited if you travel with small kids.

This was my first time staying here and it will be our place to stay every time we go to San Pedro. It was a great little apartment room, great location, far enough away from the middle of San Pedro so it was quiet but still close enough to walk and do what we wanted to do.

The location was perfect. It was easy to get comfortable with the area. I could drive around without getting lost. Locals were kind

The location was very nice. The property exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful.
You need to beef up security. At least 5 times in 9 days I had to chase people out of the private area. A metal fence and gate would probably be nice. I had to make sure my spouse did not go outside without me.

The staff was incredibly responsive and so friendly. We have stayed here before, and we cannot recommend the Palapa House enough! 10/10 recommend, and we will be back! Thank you for all you do!

Perfect location, right on the beach. The check in experience was excellent, all self service and easy to do with clear instructions. The kitchen was well equipped, the apartment was spacious and the balcony an excellent place to sit and have a quiet drink listening to the sea.
All good.

The location was good. The place was clean. Nice room.
Not much of a beach to go swimming. Lots of seaweed all over the Island and smelly!

Perfect location - right outside of central San Pedro so it was quiet but easy to walk to everything

Location was good. Communication with the resort was great
The room is very small. I was mislead by the photos. If we had a room with the kitchen I am sure I would have been happy. I was aware of having a standard room however didn’t feel it was worth the price. The rooms with kitchen were only a little more per night.

Nice large rooms, great views and favorable location! Attentive service. Comfortable king bed and nicely equipped kitchen. Stacey the concierge was great! Also Orlando the manager helped quickly when we needed a couple of things.
nothing- just as expected

We love the location here. The pool was great, beds clean and comfortable. We were happy with everything here but the wifi.
The wifi is not very good. It was very frustrating for me to get a wifi connection. I'm just glad that I didn't need wifi for work. I would recommend a router upgrade

The Palapa House was located right in front of the beach with very well equipped apartments. Especially the kitchen equipment and the amount of towels were amazing. The staff was super friendly and we had an excellent stay.

Perfect for 2 to 4 guests.

Excellent location, wonderful staff.
Very expensive for the size and quality of the room, but I believe that to be the island's fault, not the hotel's, plus we visited during peak season.

The stairs if staying on the 2nd or 3rd floor

This little hotel was in a great location, had a well-stocked kitchen, super comfy bed, strong a/c, and a pool just steps outside our door.
For staying on the bottom floor (King Suite) - it would be nice if there was some sheer curtains in the bedroom. There were blackout curtains, which were great, but there was no way of having natural light shine in without the bedroom being exposed to where people were walking. Only other thing I would have liked was better lighting in the bathroom, maybe a small vanity mirror of some kind.

Our family of three stayed here for five nights and had a great experience. Orlando was super helpful in getting us checked in and settled. Clara cleaned the room so well before our arrival and even set up the baby crib for our child, providing a fresh crib sheet and blanket too.
The location was great- quieter than the rest of town but still very close to a lot of food and activities.
The only two downsides were that the internet seemed to go in and out for us- this wasn’t a huge deal since we weren’t working on this trip but would’ve been a bummer if we had needed it for work.
Second- while the kitchen was outfitted with many cups, plates, cookware, etc. there were no condiments of any kind, which made it a little hard to cook because it meant we had to buy everything including salt and pepper. Perhaps having some salt, pepper, and sugar stocked would be nice.

Excellent location, great staff
Rooms have aged / seem “worn out”
