Loved the size of the property
The views were spectacular
Easy to warm up in cold weather
Kitchen facilities very good
Back balcony door didn’t close properly
Couple of nights door opened itself
Realised later had to pull it closed a bit harder
Driveway was a bit steep and tight for parking car so left it on the street
These were both minor and wasn’t a big issue

House was so spacious and clean. The beds and bedding were so comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Everything you could want. Totally enjoyed our stay.

Good size, good amenities inside with well stocked kitchen. Nice and warm and good to have the heatpumps downstairs.
RE collecting the key - the lock box was not ultra easy to open and the door was hard to turn the key in. We were find, but the access could be difficult for people who were older or unsteady on their feet - tricky angles. We were going to a wedding, we missed having mirrors in the downstairs bedrooms and also I would suggest having makeup facecloths available. also suggest a wee mat inside the door, the tiles are slippery when coming in with wet feet. All minor but would help.

The views are great, and the flexibility of the brms and living areas worked well for a large family group in town for a wedding. It was clean.
There were quite a lot of maintenance issues particularly with bathrooms which was disappointing. However having said that, the property manager was prompt in addressing them.
We also didn’t expect there to be holes and dents in the walls.
We didn’t use the garage as it was a very steep / angled access on the driveway, but there is plenty of street parking.

The walk up the hill, hahaha but worth it for the view was a lovely place to stay.

It was a great big space which has accommodated my 9 party of people. The kitchen has all the utensils and amenities just like my own house. Especially appreciated the bottle of Rose as a welcome which was very heartwarming. Thank you. 😊
A minor issue on a steep driveway for over 60’s especially carrying heavy bags 🥴
The rice cooker was not working and had trouble getting the Nespresso machine to work, otherwise ok.

The house was stunning with everything you need for a long stay. We travelled from the uk for a 10 night stay at the house via 4 days in Auckland and we could not fault it we had a bottle of wine and chocs waiting for us. The kitchen had everything you needed and the washer and seperate dryer were very handy! Someone complained about not enough toilet paper 😡 go and buy some!! Beds very comfy towels fluffy and white and shower was also amazing. To get to the town is hard work as very steep but we just got ubers back home (8 dollars) the views are just stunning and worth the steep hills. Local walks were also amazing. Due to steep drive we were unable to park on the drive but we had no problem parking our two hire cars on the road. I have nothing negative to say and would highly recommend.
Wasnt a longer stay!!

The house was clean, easy to warm(the heated floor in kitchen was amazing and the fire so cozy), lots of room for our 10 person group. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with condiments, the welcome gift was a lovely treat. We were so comfortable, we loved the view over the lake and town. We loved our short stay at the Bothy, you could easily settle in for a long stay here.

The views were stunning, and the size of the house was awesome for two families. The walk to town was good, but the taxi ride home was better in the heat.
The walk back up the hill in 28 degrees was not great, we did this twice then decided on a taxi which cost $9.00

The view of the town was amazing and it was a great place to stay with our group.
