“Pinbarron” is a newly renovated, fully self contained,compact and charming Queenslander in a perfect spot in East Toowoomba. Situated on tree-lined Campbell Street, only minutes’ walk to Queens Park and the Botanic Gardens and Queens Park with local primary and secondary schools, Cobb and Co Museum, and cafes,restaurants in three directions.

“Pinbarron” is the perfect stop for a visit to schools, on business, for holidays and weddings or if you are simply passing through Toowoomba looking for a welcoming cottage stay. With three bedrooms (sleeps 6), lounge, front deck and breakfast nook, there are plenty of spots to relax and enjoy this beautifully renovated worker’s cottage.

Two bedrooms have queen size beds and the third has two KING singles. The cottage is air conditioned, or just open the windows to enjoy a welcoming breeze and the sounds of birds. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, single bathroom with shower. A fully functioning laundry with washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities.

The cottage is within easy walking distance to Queens Park and Botanical Gardens, Cobb and Co Museum, Fairholme and Toowoomba Grammar School, shops and cafes in Mary and Campbell Streets.

Neighbourhood schools include Toowoomba East State School, Mater Dei Primary, Toowoomba Grammar School, Fairholme College and Toowoomba Anglican College and Prep School. Also nearby are St Vincents Hospital and its specialist centres.

The Toowoomba CBD is less than 2 kilometres away which is an easy and beautiful walk through the Botanic Gardens and Queens Park . Here you'll find the Empire Theatre ,Grand Central Shopping Centre and Eat Street.

I rented this property for my sister and her husband to stay in for 4 nights during their visit from Canada. It was the perfect cozy sanctuary for them to stay in while in Toowoomba, and was situated in a beautiful spot near cafes and restaurants. The property owner Tonita was very accomodating and helpful as well. Highly recommend! : )

Just up the road from the famous ‘bakers duck’ , diagonally opposite a pretty little cafe, 1 street over from the botanic gardens, and we even timed it for the Markets at the ‘windmill park’ (not sure of name but it has windmills on it). House was warm and cozy, clean and not at all dusty which was brilliant for our family who were up for an FTA graduation. If any families are up for FTA, hire a car at towoomba airport and stay here! Thanks for a great weekend Pinbarron.

The cottage is very homely and in a great central location in East Toowoomba. We had a great stay here. Only improvements I can say to the owners to make it even better is to install a small dishwasher and upgrade the old BBQ outside. Thanks

The Cottage was lovely and well equipped with everything you needed. It was relatively easy to make safe for twin toddlers. Great location and good communication from host.

This cottage was perfect for all of our family to come and stay for my sons wedding. Great location, and a beautiful country relaxed feel about it. Enjoyed relaxing on the front porch area under the shade of the magnificent trees out front.

Great location, well appointed with basic supplies like paper towel, pepper, oil ready. Owner easily contacted and flexible. Lovely bed linen and cosy house. We ate in at times, then brought in coffee and bakery items from near by suppliers a walk away. Cobb & Co museum, Queens Park, Farmers market a short block away. Ticked all our boxes, will return!

My daughters and I recently stayed here during a family holiday. The location was perfect for us, having previously lived in the area, and being so central. The house suited us perfectly. The house was clean, and the furnishings were stylish and comfortable. The house included everything we needed during our stay. The weather was particularly cold during our stay, but we were able to stay comfortable with the heating in the house. The booking, check-in and check-out process were easy. The host was easy to communicate with. Overall we had a wonderful time staying here, we would definitely return, and highly recommend to others.

A very enjoyable stay. Unfortunately the owner at the rear leaves an external light on all night and makes the kitchen/dining area bright all night. But overall a small price to pay but a blind would fix the problem. Need to update the TV instructions for those of us who aren’t IT savvy
