Lovely renovated cottage within walking distance of the main Square. Very clean throughout with a new bathroom, comfortable sofas in the lounge, Sky TV.
Kitchen well equipped and we appreciated all the extras - fresh bread, cereals, milk, butter, eggs, jams, wine and chocolates. Two bikes available plus bbq and outdoor sitting area. Owners go over and above to make the stay enjoyable.

The house and where it is situated. Breakfast things were great, but there was no salt only pepper.
Loved the fireplace but had trouble on the 2nd night to get it going. Weather was bad and the shed with the wood was too far away and very muddy to get to it.

Location was great. Short walk to town square.
House very nice and great fire place to heat house in late march.
Unfortunately there were a few things to be improved upon at the property. Email owners during stay and they are going to correct for future guests.

Lovely house in a good location. Lots of space and facilities. Really nice of the hosts to provide all the extras (breakfast items, chocs, chilled water, wine etc). Loved sitting in the garden in the late afternoon. Some cellar doors within walking distance (recommend Margrain), and Martinborough brewery - which is only a couple of streets away. Comfy bed and good shower. We plan to return!

Breakfast supplies appropriate and generous. Appreciated the local wine, eggs and butter and would have liked some coffee pods for the machine. Great to be left a loaf of bread rather than counted out slices.
I always like the option for a softer pillow but NBD. An umbrella for the picnic table at the back garden a good idea in the heat.

Great hosts that were easy to contact. There was cereal, bread and a bottle of wine on arrival. Lovely little cottage that had everything we needed. Would definetly stay here again.
Everything was great.

Great feeling throughout the house, great bed, nice quiet place to stay.
The approach in the driveway has a raise of concrete then dirt, dirt is ok but as it has had normal wear and tear, the middle between the tyres is raised, as we go there to attend cruise martinbough it is tough on the bottom of the car.
If the concrete was grounded down a bit on the edge or the driveway was filled in to even it out. This would make it perfect.

The house was beautifully furnished and really well and thoughtfully stocked including for breakfast. The garden is lovely. Having use of bikes was a real bonus. And just a short walk from the centre of town.
Absolutely nothing. We wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely recommend. Unfortunately we are from the UK so unlikely to get back.

Nothing really.

This was like home from home. Everything was provided right down to breakfasts, chocolates and a fully stocked pantry. We couldn't think of anything else that was needed
We would have liked a heat pump. It was unseasonably cold, and there was a fire and plenty of logs for evening, but the heaters provided struggled in the cold morning

The Property was delightful, well decorated clean and comfortable. The bottle of wine, chocolates and snacks were a nice addition.
Everything was great. One small problem was the sound on the tv, the speaker may need attention but it’s a first world issue.

This is a very beautiful little house - a well-done renovation of a classic 1920s bungalow. The house is very well-appointed and well-provisioned...even included a complementary bottle of wine and bar of chocolate!
We really enjoyed our stay!

Lovely old kauri villa with lots of original features & tastefully restored. Very comfortable, great amenities & personal touches. Very close to town. Generous breakfast items included & great bottle of wine.
Nothing really, perhaps some drawer space for clothes would’ve been useful.
