Nice little three bedroom 2 bath place. It’s a cozy craftsman located near downtown. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. Carolyn the host was responsive.

Well kept and homey, a comfort to come back to after a family memorial.

We really enjoyed the house. The internet was great and air conditioning was perfect during the heat wave during our stay. I don’t think the futon exists but the three beds were cozy and comfortable. I also loved the character of the old house, which has been updated with all necessary modern amenities. The backyard patio was perfect for visiting with some of my family while we were in town. We would definitely return if the house was available on future trips to Eugene.

We certainly enjoyed our stay in this home. We like older homes and this was a gem. The kitchen and bathrooms were modern with nice amenities.
It is a neighborhood with homeless folks with some solicition and noise from these folks.
Still, we would go there again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. Lovely decor and comfortable beds. A previous review mentioned homeless in the area so we were a little apprehensive but we had no issues. There are homeless around but we have found that in any populated area in Oregon, Washington, and California. Communication with the host was excellent. Great value for the price. This is the best deal yet that I have had with VRBO.

This is a delightful place to stay. It is a very comfortable and cozy house to stay at. The beds and pillows were excellent, the heating/cooling unit worked well, and it was a very well stocked kitchen. It is a roomy 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house in a very walkable neighborhood. The best part might be having Sweet Life Patisserie just a block down the alley.

We came up for a dance competition. Overall house was great, neighborhood was not so great. Homeless camping half a block down and ally way between this house a next house, so there was quite a bit of foot traffic with camp. No parking when we arrived, so we parked in business parking, which were great. Once our parking opened up in front of house we moved our 2 cars. Noise level was great, just regular traffic you might hear as well as train, it did not effect our sleep for 2 nights. We all felt pretty secure and made sure house and cars were locked up before retiring for night. All in all, stay was great as well as communication.

Cute house, roomy, comfy beds. Perfect location for downtown.
Street parking only, but it was never a problem. Eugene has a big homeless population, but again not a big issue for us. I would definitely stay here again!

We came and stayed for a coaching clinic. The house was great for what we needed. The neighborhood not so great but nothing that the owner can change. The owner was a great host answered all our questions immediately. Would definitely stay here again

Amazing, cute home! It was much larger than I expected with more space.

The house was exactly as described and same as the pictures. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of bedding & pillows. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and eat at the house. Lots of very thoughtful items in the house to use. Bathrooms were great with lots of hot water and even a claw bathtub.
We agreed we would stay here again when in Eugene.

Sprawling home, and so comfortable. We thank our hosts for providing everything that we could possibly need for our stay. Downtown close to everything...walk down the alley to the best bakery in existence, walk a little further for Dutch Bros coffee. Love the access to tacos in Eugene...gained 4 pounds in 4 days; beware!

I picked this little house because of its proximity to the Hult Theatre. It is a lovely little house, with charming decorations and nice features like sound machines in bedrooms and the most comfortable beds and pillows. We didn't want to get out of bed. If I'm in Eugene again this will be the first rental I look at for my stay.

I loved staying in this historic property. It was a great value and was close to our conference. It kept us safe and warm during the ice storm; we were lucky to never lose our electricity. The pictures did not do the place justice; it’s a very cute house with all the necessities.

Very walkable location. Plenty of seating both inside and out. Hot water, great pressure. The downstairs mattress was very comfortable (friends said the other two were as well). UberXL to the Arena was $16 on concert night.
Plenty of street parking. The back patio is not adjacent to another residential property which makes it comfortable to have a conversation We were a party of 4 adults.
Excellent bakery one block down the alley. Chicken Crossing is 2 blocks down (great for lunch).

Great house for a weekend for four adults. Only bummer was there was not cable or Roku for the front room TV so we had to go to a bar to watch any sports games.

Conveniently located, comfortable, easy to find. We were revisiting Eugene and going to a Ducks Game. Downfalls, traffic noise. Very close to a great bakery ( Sweet Life).

What a cute, unique place to stay. House is much bigger than it appears from the street. I loved the layout. Could definitely have a couple families, or a few couples with them seperated by the kitchen. Loved it.

We loved this eclectic bungalow. I felt like I was in a museum so to speak. Everywhere close to a awonderfulI looked there was something interesting to look at. This place was clean, had everything you needed and more. Beds were comfortable and the back patio was fantastic. Privacy and beauty.
The location is very convenient

Eugene was a good halfway point for my wife and I and a long-term friend from Seattle. The house was a perfect base for us. Spacious, comfortable, well-appointed, and centrally located. The house was very clean and everything worked. The house is not a sterile tract home but has character and charm which was just our style. It is near a busy Eugene street but the only time we were aware of the street noise was at night and the provided white noise machines were the perfect antidote. Some of the properties nearby are a little derelict but we enjoyed the neighborhood and walked to the Willamette River, downtown, the U of O, and much more. We never felt unsafe. We are already talking about returning!

The house fit our family perfectly, providing four separate sleeping areas. Fortunately there were plenty of places to sit when visiting friends and family stopped by. It was the perfect place to gather. The house was clean and detailed. The house keeper should be commended. The laundry area in the basement allowed for us to easily get our laundry done and the washer and dryer were newer and efficient. The location was convenient to everything we needed. I would stay here again should I ever return to Eugene.

If you’re looking for a sleek and modern property this is not for you. This house was built in 1910 and still maintains some of the wonderful antique features with every modern amenity available. The host provided everything for a comfortable stay. My only complaint was the street noise but the host said she’s getting “white noise” machines to block it out at night. The house location makes it easy to get to major highways, college and downtown locations.

House was great very well stocked!!! Location was farther away than I thought to my classes but easy to get to food and great restaurants. Will definitely return if in the area!! Thank you Carolyn

The house was very clean, and well stocked. The shower downstairs was difficult to use. It was a big claw tub that had no hand safety bars to use. My husband and I are in our 70’s. We used the upstairs bathroom which worked well. The street noise was noticeable. The location was excellent. We did notice a lot of homeless in the area.

Great host. Easy to communicate with. Best place we have ever stayed as far as kitchen supplies, bath supplies etc. wonderful beds with high quality sheets and blankets. We appreciated having a washer and dryer. Nice to be able to sit in the backyard to eat. We felt very at home.

Property was as described. Clean, good location.
We didn’t cook this time so I can’t speak to the kitchen equipment.

We were in town for my son's graduation from University of Oregon. The house was perfect! Great size, good location, VERY comfy beds. And so cute! The kitchen is stocked to the nines--we prepped food for my son's after grad party, and had everything we needed for that. The yard outside is literally an oasis in the city. I'd definitely stay here again, when I have more time to just enjoy the space.
