Room was small

Easy access. Walking distance into Oxford. Well equipped kitchen and nice conservatory to eat in. Clean throughout and firm mattress with combination of pillow options.
Bed was too firm for us but might suit others very well.

The room was bright and clean, it's nice that there is common kitchen, eating area and garden. Not far from the center - around 30 minutes walk.
There is a musty smell in the hall, luckily not in the rooms on the top floor. There is a very narrow flight of steps and no elevator, which may be a problem for people with big luggage or mobility issues.
4.5
There was lots of space in room and both bedroom and bathroom were bright, clean and airy with windows facing lovely green patio and gardens. It was a "straight shot" down Iffley Rd to the Old Town and all the colleges and cathedrals, so very easy to navigate the town, even on foot. The cafe, pub, Fish and Chips shop and grocery store that were steps from Iffley Town House were happy bonuses!

It is a clean and well-organized place. I can prefer to stay there on my next visit.
Someone took my sandwich from the common kitchen fridge.

The rooms are clean and secure. The price is inexpensive, but sufficient to deter undesirables I think. It's an ideal option for a few days or a week in Oxford without the cost of a hotel, of to be with friends or family in the area.
There are 3 flights of steps to the top 3 rooms and this could have been better signposted.

great location near my daughter’s digs, clean and quiet enough. comfy bed. on bus route. Value for money. Shared kitchen a win.
The central heating was way too hot. we had to leave our windows open all day in November.

Extremely comfortable bed and lovely communal kitchen and conservatory with everything provided in terms of crockery, tea/coffee etc.
Slightly out of the way but we needed to be that side of town anyway.

Good location, walkable into Oxford. It was clean -(apart from from hand stains and marks on the walls) and well maintained. Bed was fairly comfy.
We were really quite disappointed with this hotel. Maybe we got a little unlucky with the room allocation, but the room was small and impersonal.
Most of the walls were bare and to be honest it just felt a bit miserable to be in there. The shower room was tiny and the sink impractical it was so small. We really missed a kettle or any tea or coffee facilties for the room.
The whole environment felt like it lacked a lot of love and attention.
Maybe this is the going rate for hotels these days, but this felt overpriced for what it was.

Check-in was clear and easy. The room was quite clean and reasonably spacious. It was nice and quiet at the top of the house, despite being on a maind road. There was a very conveniently located bus stop, but several good shops, cafes, and other facilities were within easy walking distance for us even in the rain (able-bodied 30-50). There was a nice TV that worked well.
There was low water pressure in the shower and the taps. The water stopped altogether for a while during a morning shower. There were no toiletries, water glasses, kettle, etc. in the room (there was kitchen stuff in the communal kitchen), but the room was bare and functional rather than comfortable. The steps were steep and narrow, with no lift. The radiator was on very hot, and impossible to turn off manually. Staff were polite and eventually helpful, but hard to contact. They changed the room temperature remotely. We had requested a king bedroom but the bed was two smaller divans pushed together. Housekeeping arrived an hour earlier than stated check-out time. The convenience of check-in via codes on the front and bedroom door was trumped by our feeling unsafe, as we don't know how often the codes are changed, so we would be reluctant to leave valuables there. There was no table or desk, though there was a chest of drawers and bedside unit. This means the room isn't ideal either for work or relaxing. It would be very good for quick stopovers or if you have office facilities in the city, but not suitable for a romantic break.

Great location. Clean room. Easy access.
Double room bit small. Stayed in King on other occasion and it was excellent

Great location for our trip to Oxford, a simple clean, quiet room with a super comfy bed, a bit on the pricey side in my opinion but the whole city is overpriced so not a reflection on the property.
Communication with the hosts was great throughout, we didn’t use it but the communal spaces were well set up. Loved the key code entry, no issues with it at all.

The house is stunning. The room - king deluxe, is large and the bed is very comfy. You have access to a modern communal kitchen with all modern appliances and a lovely conservatory to eat in. Buses are right out the front with a chippy, co op and pubs within minutes. Double glazed windows stop traffic noise. Room was made up daily. Access to a washing machine and clothes horse. Bathroom is modern though shower is a little small. Towels are large and luxurious. Entry to house is via key pad and same with each bedroom.

Great code system for entering the house and room. Clean kitchen with all the facilities you need. Small room but had everything I needed and the bed was comfortable. Nice lounge area too. Not easy to park in the area but luckily there was space in the driveway for me to park.

Good location, clean, excellent facilities and excellent polite cleaning staff
Absolutely the tiniest room i have ever stayed in. Window view blocked by a wall. The toilet is literally smaller than that of an economy plane, cannot even properly wash hands on the sink that's how small it is.
Friends from the next door room had a fantastic stay, but not us.

The room, in fact the whole house was clean, well lit. The bed comfortable. Kitchen facilities good. It is located where I wanted to stay. Good internet connectivity.

There's no breakfast facility here. Cafe next door was great. Entry to hotel and room excellent system.
Loo seat was cracked. Parking very tight but we were grateful to be able to park.
