Staff were really friendly when we arrived. Rooms were clean. Nothing luxurious, but good for the price.
2.5
Close to city centre
The picture on the website is misleading and felt that the room really needed a deep clean.
1.5
Had parking space
Noisy when stayed downstairs. Coujd not sleep at night because of noise from guests walking in their room upstairs.
Fire alarm broke out in the early morning and the attending person was not staying at the place which led all guests waiting outside for him to come and stop it which took a while. Not a pleasant experience. Did not meet expectation at all. Will not recommend anybody.

The room and bathroom were neat and clean and as described. Tea and coffee making provided. Cosy room. Large TV. Bed was comfortable. Check in was easy with keypad. There was parking. Bus stop to city about 100 feet away. Also very close to Coop supermarket. Best value we could find with parking.
There are renovations going on outside with building materials everywhere to walk through. This took us aback but inside all was fine. The renovations meant that the car park was compromised with workers and materials, and street parking is almost nonexistent. We parked in the
front driveway which was the only available place when we arrived. There is no front desk but phone no to call was
answered immediately when we called.
Our room was on the street and a little noisy but didn't stop us sleeping.

parking very difficult indeed and got blocked in meaning I missed my appointment , on busy main road so very noisy . other guests leaving at 5.30 am woke us up .

Good location. We were visiting a friend who lived nearby so it was perfect for that. It was also right by a bus stop with direct access to the city centre.
I booked a triple room and wasn't told until I arrived in the evening that it had been turned into a double and a single family room. This wasn't a huge issue and I was offered an additional cot to be bought into the room, however, for two nights this didn't seem worth it. However, I did regret not taking this offer up as the double bed wasn't a full double so it was a bit of a squeeze with me and my friend. Given how much we paid I think some warning in advance would have been nice and I might have had the additional bed set up, there was room for it in the room.

The bed and room were clean. Shower products and tea were provided.
I checked in at 21:30. There was no one there, luckily someone heard me and let me in, we had to call someone to figure out where my key was. Apparently I was supposed to liaise with someone in advance to get the code for my key. Because this isn't the case with every guesthouse, I would expect to be notified about this process rather than nearly being left outside for the night.
When I got into the room it was cold and the radiator wouldn't turn on. I am a young man and it was too cold for me!
In the morning I spent 20 minutes fiddling with the shower. It went from a scolding hot blast to a freezing cold trickle. It's impossible to wash your hair in either of these settings. And there was no one there to help.

our room was cosy and cute. the bathroom was a bit small but more than fine for our short stay and it was definitely clean.

The location was perfect for me. The bed was comfortable.
The manager wasn't there when I arrived so the cleaner checked me in. The room was small but ok for me, although there was mould on the ceiling. The bathroom needs updating.

The propperty is 25-30 minutes by foot to the city center, in a nice neighbourhood.
Free parking available and supermarket at 50-100m from the place.
The room was clean and have all the facilities needed.
Excellent for short stays.
The communication with the host was a bit difficult. He did not answer to the phone (tried to call him several times during the day of check-in). However, the cleaning lady was there and opened us.
The room is a bit dated

It was clean, particularly the bathroom. The staff (when you find them) were nice.
The pillows are so uncomfortable!! My neck is still hurting…
Also, nowhere to put things. The family room had no bedside tables by the double bed (the only one there had all the tea and coffee stuff on it). The bathroom had no shelves or hangers.
The light gets through in the morning as if there were no curtains at all.
These are all inexpensive things that would make the stay so much more comfortable!!
God knows how a family would have managed…
TV cables were all broken and had to wait for the guy to come and fiddle with them with the promise of fixing it permanently the next day (I have a feeling that might never happen - LOL).

Nice and clean, 15-20min walk to the center, nice host, would come again!
