Inexpensive, off road parking, friendly host, cleaning products available, fridge in room, fresh milk. Price is very fair and setting expectations by the price point I wasn't disappointed. Helpful info- Parking is on the gravel driveway through the stone wall. The house is on the corner with a council car park entrance to the right as you look at the house from the road. Well positioned for access to various shops restaurants etc.
Supposed to have sole use of a bathroom but there was at least one infringement, caught red handed, but I suspect more. Bathroom not as clean as I expected but I was able to clean it myself as the products were there.
Took me ages to identify the house in the dark and snow, and I wasn't sure where to park.

It's ideal place to stay for exploring inner and outer areas of Glasgow. Lovely friendly host, and so was the friendly dog, loved a fuss. 10-15 walk to bus station, rail etc. Standard rooms comfortable beds, and a nice relaxing atmosphere. Ideal for our stay, great value and would stay again.
Sounds from outside prominent, but we not use to town noise, just something to be aware of.

It's a beautiful house. I was made to feel very welcome. It is a very peaceful place to stay a lovely host who can't do enough to help and a beautiful little dog

The property is about 10 minute walk from the train and bus station in a quiet location close to shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and the beds clean and comfortable. It was reasonable priced for what I got. Very friendly lady and dog.

Nothing apart from leaving.
Cleanliness, lack of maintenance, facilities and comfort.
The bed spring’s made an awful noise with the slightest movement. We didn’t dare to take a shower or use the sink as they were so dirty so we used wet wipes. Although the toilet had a sanitized label on it it was not clean around the seat mounting. The toilet seat and cistern lid were from a different model and didn’t fit. The chair in the bedroom had a loose and split seat pad. Nothing had been PAT tested and appliances were connected via a series of interconnected extension leads. The tea making facilities were a joke. The door handles were loose being partially secured by protruding screws.
It was advertised as a bed and breakfast and says so on the entrance door, but there was no breakfast.
There was a loud unexplained ‘buzzing’ noise regularly throughout the night that would have woken us had we managed to get some sleep on the most uncomfortable beds that left me with back pains.
Part of the property was in a state of collapse. Although this didn’t directly affect us, it does indicate the lack of any maintenance
I have several photographs on my mobile phone should you need to see them.
Irene was very pleasant, but is struggling to maintain a viable business and needs help.
You should consider removing this property from your listings.

Handy location. Everything else was disappointing. I booked and paid for 3 nights but stayed only 1
Room was cold and draughty, very small, bed uncomfortable, shower dirty.
Bed kept moving away from the back wall.
Owner was friendly enough but overcharged me .
Parking not adequate - not enough for only 3 vehicles despite information on facilities.
Serious lack of basic maintenance and cleaning

Nice room good facilities
Heating broken on a -9 degrees night. Only there for one night, so didn't worry too much, but a longer stay would have been impossible

The host was friendly and there was free parking.
I stayed here overnight due to having a work dinner in Hamilton. The host is a lovely lady who is super friendly and friendly, perhaps too friendly as she demanded to see what I was wearing to dinner….
On arrival: The property has no signage to indicate you are at the right place so it’s a bit confusing. The room was not en-suite and rather a bathroom from the shared hall was provided. The room was dated and in a poor state of repair. There was dust everywhere and the headboards and radiator covers were hanging off. The bathroom was not clean. The advertised fridge was not plugged in and instead I was provided with some sour milk for tea/coffee. I was provided with a front door key and informed I could come and go as I please. So far poor but acceptable for the price.
There was no water supply to the taps or toilet. I informed the host of this and then headed out to dinner. I checked my key worked prior to leaving, which it did.
I returned from dinner approximately 3 hours later, to find the front door locked in a way my key did not unlock. I rang the doorbell, knocked on the door and even set my car alarm off but the host didn’t not let me in. As a result I was outside in -5 degrees for 3 hours before I caved and went to the premier inn down the road. My belongings are still inside the property.
Overall a huge mistake booking here.
