sarebbe potuto essere un bel momento

la vista dalla finestra e la posizione

il servizio; a 360°; disfunzioni varie; impossibile usare la spa perchè i teli erano finiti!!!! ci hanno fatto aspettare 20 minuti e poi ci hanno consegnato un asciugamanino da bidet con cui non potevamo fare nulla; solo due ore dopo la reception ci ha chiamato per dirci che avevano trovato i teli!!! Assurdo!! Le finestre della camera erano sporchissime; per godere del panorama bisognava aprirle; inaccettabile per un albergo di tale categoria. anche su altri fronti il servizio ha lasciato molto a desiderare

Best breakfast on the coast!

THE BEST breakfast on Adriatic coast!!!!! I kid you not, this is it! The service was perfect, location and the staff too.

It was too crowded so we couldn't find sun beds near the pool, we had to go to the shore. The staff tried to mend this but there was just too many guests.

Habsburgs Belle Epoque und italienischer Charm.

Das ist sicher eines der schönsten und elegantesten Hotels an der kroatischen Adriaküste, der perfekte Mix aus Habsburgs Belle Epoque und italienischem Charme. Zimmer mit Blick auf die Kvarner Bucht, eine herrliche Terrasse, schöner Garten, bestes Frühstück, gute kroatische Küche und ein durchgehend freundliches Personal. Der einzige Hinweis: Die Speisekarte wird nach ein paar Tagen langweilig. Wir kommen seit der (Wieder)Eröffnung des Hotels im Jahr 2000 immer wieder, weil es, aus Wien gesehen, das nächstgelegene kleine Paradies an der Adria ist.

The most picturesque Hotel and location I’ve ever visited. The decor is stunning, the view is breathtaking, the staff are friendly and helpful, the dining area is elegant, breakfast is fantastic, room and balcony were amazing

Pretentious.

Location is excellent interior is good

prices are exorbitant, far to high for the quality offered. Restaurant, the quality of the food was under all expectations and price wise really a bad performance. All service provided cost money, even normal services usually provided in upscale hotels. This Hotel is by international standards not a luxury 5 star hotel. The prices however are above those standards.

Views, views, views and once again views from the reception to the harbour, from our rooms to the harbour. Excellent. So were the rooms, services, breakfasts. We stayed 2 overnights. We loved the hotel and of course, Hvar town. We'll be back,

In the year 2000 („Millennial“) we were one of the very first customers staying in this lovely renovated hotel. And since this time we are coming back again and again. It is a truly special hotel. One of our favorite hotels in Europe.

From the start the welcome and greeting on arrival was personal, genuine and excellent. the hotel is in excellent condition. the breakfasts were excellent but the breakfasts on Christmas Day and Boxing day… Mamma Mia, I could not leave. just love pomegranate in champagne and serviettes folded like little Christmas trees. And the location is just unbeatable.

That I had to leave! great stay.

Paradise

Perfect location and luxury accommodations coupled with an incredible breakfast daily! We could not have asked for more!

This was our first visit to this property and it was fabulous. The rooms were lovely and the bathroom spacious. Everything was impeccably clean and the staff was outstanding! We hope to return in the future and would definitely stay here again!

Very friendly welcome, but is more 4* rather than 5*

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially front of house. The location is right in the centre of Opatija so you can access local amenities and transport links very easily. The hotel mostly faces the sea and the lovely main promenade. Has a pretty breakfast room. Lovely Viennese style cafe attached to the hotel with excellent cakes!

Being central means it’s also by the noisy main road. Too many non-hotel customers using the main cafe and taking up the nice seats. Plastic flowers outside front of - and in the hotel reception - making it look cheap. Dated decor in reception. Laundry service took 2 days. Curtains in room were shabby. No-one serving at the hotel bar during the daytime, so we struggled to get a drink when stuck indoors on a rainy day. Swimming pool area needs some tlc. On busy days not enough waiting staff at breakfast. TV in room only offered limited analogue channels and none in English and no films, so if it’s raining you can’t even relax and watch a film.
