Terrific location on the bank of the river Severn. Very friendly and helpful staff. The ground floor room was a real bonus and I would highly recommend .

Quirky , great character. Dinner and breakfast was excellent. Staff were very helpful
Old building, with lots of stairs . But that what gave it its character

I have stayed at the Mug House before and this time was in a clean, tidy, good sized room. The room layout was a bit quirky however, its a very old building with odd shaped rooms. Nice view over the river and good facilities in the room. Had an evening meal and also breakfast two of the mornings I was staying and all were very good. The staff and friendly and helpful
Some of the decor is staring to look a little tired, however my room itself was very good, good facilities and a very comfortable bed.

Great location, room a bit dated, but clean and comfortable, fresh milk, tea, coffee, water, biscuits etc provided in room. Car park just a few hundred yards away. Amazing value for money. Breakfast was lovely too.
Cannot fault it for the price.

Location excellent. Very good breakfast and evening meal.
Extra toilet roll, only a quarter of one available. Alot of ants which were attracted to sweets that we had in our luggage. Didn't bother us to be fair but may bother other guests.

Good towels and bedding
Throughout the hotel the decoration was needed.
The carpet in the bedroom was very worn.
Some light fittings were not working, although they were fixed and initially the shower adapter was stuck so showering wasn't possible. The TV aerial socket was loose so the reception was poor.
Overall the hotel needed attention and we never got an apology from the owner.

Room was quirkey and very comfortable really nice.
Breakfast was excellent quality.
Location was great overlooking the river and close to town centre and attractions
The only small issue was when we arrived we had requested an early check in for 12pm and had an email to say that was no problem but when we arrived the manager or owner said they don,t do that and we can,t check in untill 3pm but then a young lady came whilst he was saying we could not have had an email and said the room was ready as per our request and email ,no apology just walked away.

The location of the Hotel is brilliant right on the River Severn with outside dining or drinks on the quay. The car park is conveniently close and accessible and comes as part of the package. All the staff are amazing, really welcoming organised and friendly. The rooms are a wonderful mix of classic 17th Century architecture and subliminal comfort, the in room fridge with chilled water and classic biscuits with the tea and coffee were most welcome.
The restaurant offers inside and outside dining, + an outside bar with some covered and open seating, the menu covers most tastes and the food was excellent.
I had a brilliant time at the Mug House Inn, and was made to feel really welcome, I'm going back in September and would highly recommend this as great place to stay.
