Very clean, well located and caring staff.
No AC, but with the fan was more than enough to be comfortable.

Good location near one of the few free parking spots in Porto. The employees were super nice and attentive.
The hotel information said they had private parking and they didn’t, huge deal breaker and we almost cancelled and went to another hotel. Luckily there were free parking spots close by. (The employees told us that the owner has been warned and has knowledge about this problem and hasn’t changed the information about not having private parking).

location.
Room very small and cramped. Sometimes no one was on reception so you had to keep ringing the door bell to get back into the hotel as the door was locked during the day.

Location is good
They put us up in a pension because they had no rooms left. We had a reservation for weeks and they didn't call to let us know. The next night they put us in the corresponding room but it is not the same as the photographs.

Comfortable bed, very clean space and excellent location.
We booked in advance but got a message the day before saying there was an issue and had to move us to the 4th floor in a building with no elevator. There would be a discount so did we agree? Short on time, we agreed but getting there, the was an extra (very narrow) set of stairs as the room was in the attic. The room was fine but there was NO pressurenin the shower, merely a drizzle, so we complained and were moved to a room in the 1st floor, the had vacated meanwhile. If not, we would have moved hotels as a good bed and a clean functional bathroom is the minimum.

This hotel has a very good location.
The building inside is beautiful, but it is run-down.
Room was too small and very old.
The balcony door didn't shut properly. All the noises from the street don't let you sleep.
Staff bearly spoke English. Check-in took to long due to language difficulties. After the 1st night, I complained about the noise in my room (street noise and loud snoring next door during the 1st night) and asked to change the room. The recepsionist answered "no room change, if they make noise you make noise as well".

At first we were put in a tiny attic room with a double bed-a photo of this is NOT on their website and I had booked a twin room with Booking.com. No explanation was made as to why we were put there in the first place just that we would be moved the next day. My guess is that they had double booked but this was not explained at all. We spent two nights in the attic room which was very cramped indeed before we were moved to a much bigger room with far more space. I cannot fault the reception staff, especially the young girl who was extremely helpful. Also the lady who took care care of the cleaning and changing of bed linen etc-the cleanliness of the hotel is excellent.
Someone should have explained why we were not put in twin rooms to begin with. I didn't ask to be compensated for this purely because the room that they gave us was probably the largest that they had and because the reception staff were so lovely. However it doesn't take away the fact that we had paid upfront before seeing where we were going to spend the next two nights -I would have asked for a reduction had I known.

Nothing since I did no get the room.
The Hotel is closed for some time now. So they sell you the location and then they give you the supplement hotel outside the city centre. Be carefull. I have received the massage from them 1 day before, could react.

We ended up being shuffled from one substitute hotel to another getting further away from the historic area each time. I question if this is even a hotel or just a sham that takes the booking and then sends people to cheaper hotels and keeps the difference.
