Perfectly located traditional hotel with a stunning view of the harbour. The staff could not have been more charming. Superior room with sea view just perfect

Incroyable!

Great reception and hospitality! I have really enjoyed my time in this hotel, starting from comfy outside terrace to cute little balcony in the room with sea view. Good breakfast as well, yet I have missed some choice for non-sweet things
The room is rather small, but that was not really disturbing.

Great location. Comfortable room with great view. Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff.
A bit disappointed with dinner.

Location, terrace, cleanliness
Lack of parking, unable to keep curtains open (to allow breeze) as footpath runs along at same level - 3rd floor rooms at back of hotel

The location was good
No parking. There are supposed to be five bays for guest, good luck getting one. No one to assist with bags. No curtains on room so sun comes in at 5am. A tractor starts to move boats into the water very early. The space between the bed and the wall was about a foot, making it extremely difficult to go to the bathroom. The room is tiny. The restaurant is mediocre and charges premium prices.

The position is lovely, overlooking the water. The rooms are fresh and spacious, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were charming and helpful.
I liked it all.

The view was spectacular. The young female staff were very pleasant.
The room was sold as ‘Superior’ - it was not. It was small, so was the bathroom which had poor lighting and undersized towels. The furnishings were I’ll matched and could have come from a jumble sale. On the first full day at 14.00 hours we had to ask for our room to be serviced. On the next day someone came to service the room at 4.00 - we said it was too late I had done it myself. On the third day nobody came at all. Our waste bin was overflowing. There were no tea making services in the room. Only bottles of soap nailed to the bathroom walls, no other toiletries.
There was a bottle of water in the room on arrival but we were given no more.
The head waiter was a miserable man. On the second day I sat on the sunny terrace waiting for my husband to join me. He asked if I wanted a drink and when I said I did not he asked me to move inside as he wanted my table for someone else. I refused.
On Easter Monday all services were suspended and only one member of staff remained. The facilities resumed on the Tuesday at 8.00 hours by which time we had left.
On the first evening we had dinner in the hotel restaurant, which in all publicity said it was amazing and the chef was superb. My husband ordered the fish soup which was Not hot and came with no bread. We asked for.some but it did not arrive. My first course was billed as pâté de canard en croute. It turned out to be similar to English Grosvenor pie which is very cheap and made with chopped pork. This was certainly not duck. The price was outragious.
All in all it was very disappointing. It was certainly not worth E1128 for four nights stay, and I really think an amount of compensation is due

Great location, right by the water. Terrace off room 213 was lovely once the rain cleared. Close to handsome neighborhood and seaside shops and cafés— within a beautiful seaside path.
Parking nearby is a bit sketchy, but generally a safe neighborhood. Room was small typical of Parisian hotel rooms. View was of tiny beach, not the entire bay.

very now Celt decorated
a bit noisy because of lots of people outside

The location was private and slightly away from the crowd. View was water front and looked over the inlet where many small boats were anchored. Very scenic.
The dinner we had wasn't as good as most French meals we ate elsewhere. Service was good.

The hotel is near the sea, great view through the window. Breakfast available by order and was delicious.
We had a paid booking for a family of 4, the room was not ready when it supposed to be ready, the staff hardly spoke English and seemed to be confused. When we got into the room, it has been arranged later that evening. The room had only 2 electric points for charging, little fan, missing rubbish bin, but cleaned up every day. Towels were only small ones, two bigger size not changed in 2 days. Expensive breakfast.

Location and we were able to park. Not surprising though as we were the only guests apart from a large coach party. Bed was comfy and toiletries ok. Easy walking into town trying to find restaurants we had been told were good only to find that they were closed!
Appalling lack of communication. Had been asked a week before from the hotel to complete an online booking form. They did not mention that their restaurant and bar would not be open for us, just for the coach party staying. If we had known this we would have cancelled our booking before the 48 hour deadline. On arrival the door to the hotel was locked with a sign that it was closed. I had to ring reception to gain entry- they knew we were arriving at the allotted time. Very very poor. On being told the restaurant wasn't open for us we were given 2 restaurant recommendations - we had to go to the Tourist office to find these restaurants and on tramping round Dinard finding them they were both closed. I mentioned this to reception on our return but she wasn't bothered. We had to go and find a supermarket to buy a bottle of wine as we weren't allowed to buy a glass of wine at the bar. This despite the hotel been full of a staying coach party. This was the last day of our holiday in France- so very disappointing in every way. The lack of concern for our welfare was outrageous - no offer of compensation on our room bill was offered. Appalling service all round. Such a huge disappointment as I had chosen the hotel for its position in Dinard and we were looking forward to a restaurant meal as we had self catered for all of our holiday.

Had a first floor room with balcony and lovely views over the bay. The bed was really comfortable, great shower and separate loo. The balcony had a table and 2 chairs which got the afternoon and evening sun. It was fun looking out across the bay to the hotel opposite, people walking by and one evening a great jazz trio played outside below. The staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming, they really made us feel at home. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent, the entrecôte of Hereford beef was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was also great but not included in the price of the room. There are frequent passenger ferries at the end of the quay too so a good way to visit St Malo.
The room had 2 biggish chairs inside which didn't leave much space to move around the bed. There is free parking for 5 cars at the hotel but on a first come first served basis but you can park nearby and its not very expensive. The hotel is at the bottom of the hill so the only way on foot is up.

We love our visits to this small hotel in Dinard - our room was a perfect one night stay size - view is very special to wake up to.
Staff fantastic from the moment we arrived until our departure - they waited up for us as our boat had been delayed and greeted us with big smiles. Breakfast delicious. Only sad thing was we had to leave in the morning so missed an evening meal - next time!
Stay just as you are!
