Dans l'ensemble c'est positif, MAIS c'est surtout en peintures que l'hôtel a été rénovée...

1-sa proximité par rapport au site religieux de Lourdes 2-l'accueil du personnel et surtout le responsable de la partie restaurant, 3-la restauration (petit dejeuner et chambre) par rapport au prix bien sûr 4-la disponibilité du responsable restauration et son sourire. 5-la propreté est là.

Dans les chambres notamment la notre 211 ( 3 personnes) manque prises électriques, et un meilleur éclairage car il n'est pas du tout puissant pour notamment, trouver un vêtement dans l'armoire, et le soir, impossible de lire dans son lit. Quant à la salle de bains, elle est dépourvue de chauffage et manque un peu plus d'éclairage pour pouvoir se maquiller .

Personnel au top. Proximité avec la grotte et la gare de Lourdes

L’accueil exceptionnel, le personnel de l’hôtel sont vraiment incroyables . Gentils patients, à l’écoute. Ils ont beaucoup d’humour. Ils sont super . En revanche l’hôtel doit être rafraîchi un peu au niveau de la literie. Mais dans l’ensemble je recommande cet hôtel 👍

Lourdes was wonderful and being at Hôtel Saint Etienne was in a good location.

The location was a short walk to the sanctuary and while we were there during the low season, there was sufficient food around stores that were opened to serve our needs. Monsieurs Fred & David were helpful & polite in replying to earlier email and on site. Breakfast was good and at a decent price. It was a nice little establishment and our family enjoyed the stay. We stayed in a quad room, it was clean and bathrooms were good and spacious.

Good location, room is big and clean

Room is big, clean and I loved the extra pillows. Location is good less than 10mins walk to the Sanctuary. Quick and early check-in are a plus point.

No parking but does not bother us, easy to find parking nearby.

We were very happy with everything. Nice room and very close to Lourdes and shops. Everything was just walking distance. Breakfast and dinner was great. Staff are very polite and helpful.

Nothing to complain about. Great service. Happy with everything. We had a great time. The only thing is we wish McDonald was closer.

Affordable Stay in Lourdes

This hotel was in a central location. It’s about 8-10 minute walk from the train station, and it’s about 8-10 minute walk from the Grotto. The staff was very nice and accomodating. The lady at the reception helped me book the taxi for the next morning so that I could catch the earliest flight out of Lourdes. The next morning, the gentleman at the front desk opened the door and turned on the t.v. for me as I waited for my taxi. There’s a postal box across the street if you’d like to mail your postcards. I love the spiral staircase. I love how they gave me a room on the second level with the view of the street below me. I was very surprised to discover that St. Bernadette’s birthplace was just around the corner, maybe around 2-3 minute walk from the hotel.

Good hotel for the price paid

For the price paid, the breakfast was decent. The rooms were bigger than average for Lourdes, even the bathroom. The location is very good since its just one road away about 5 minutes walk from the sanctuary. Breakfast was delicious, with many beverages to choose from. They also let us book breakfast one day in advance, so it gave us the option to decide what we wanted!

Certain staff were not friendly. Constantly looking over as to what we were doing, especially at breakfast. We felt judged when eating the food we paid for. The beds were totally uncomfortable. The tiles of the floor in the bathroom were not leveled and constantly moving when walking on them, could easily make you fall or cut your foot.

Very good

The staff was extremely nice and welcoming, they even let us leave our luggage at the reception desk while we visited the city after having checked out. Breakfast was nice and filling and the rooms were clean and comfy. The location is the perfect walking distance from the sanctuary, shops, restaurants and the train station.
