Super friendly and helpful personnel.
The room could be a bit cleaner, there was a layer of dust on the night table.
7.0 / 10.0
The room was functional, spacious and clean; staff was very friendly; breakfast was very good. Thanks to WiFi, very good internet connection.
The hotel itself doesn’t look very inviting from outside, but that’s not an issue. However, dinner was one of the worst we have had in years. The salad was acceptable; the bruschetta, pasta and burrito didn’t measure up to any standards, and I’m not talking about gourmet cuisine here. Many a snack stand can offer you better meals. The meals looked promising, but that’s about all.

The property was quiet, convenient and clean. If in the area again I would definitely come back.

Other than the location, it was great. I’ve never stayed at a hotel about a restaurant so I was sceptical but I was so pleasantly surprised. Such a comfy bed and cozy area. Only other issue would be bathroom size but honestly for two people it’s totally fine!

Nothing, all ist good.

There is no breakfast service. It's the unique unsatisfactory thing.
6.0 / 10.0
The location is relatively close to the bostalsee, which is a very nice place for outdoor activities, like walking, windsurfing sailing etc.
It is a low budget hotel, but it is clean. The hotel could improve the quality of their cappuccino.

Bed was comfy and enjoyed the normality of a self service breakfast and liked the terrace.
Booking.com stated the room had a balcony but none of the rooms had a balcony, room only had one towel and one cup even knowing there was two people staying in the room.. little kids running around and screaming outside by the terrace outside our window could hear with even the windows shut! and when we were having dinner the same kids drove us up the wall with no consideration for other diners.. check in was very brief and had to work a few bits out for ourselves.. stains on the floor in the room.

Good shower, controllable and plenty of water coming out. The breakfast was good, plenty of choice and quantity.
Entrance and Exit and Reception not obvious. Staff seemed upset to be bothered with our arrival, virtually ignored us. Perhaps my (Genius 2) 15% discount upset them(?) They didn't offer a Menu or invite us to make a Dinner reservation. Checking in took too long. We had to write our details on a "Booking In" form even though Booking.com provided them with that information. They were half-hearted about the masks they were wearing, not covering their noses. Nor were they keeping their distance. Room was too hot, no breeze, no air-con. No TV Channel in English except BBC News. Wi-fi advertised but virtually non-existent.
