Beautiful hotel and garden within the forest Bois de la chaise. Very near to several awesome beaches. Quiet and relaxing.
Wonderful hosts and very friendly staff. Excellent food with great variety (breakfast and dinner).
Spacious and comfortable room with little garden terrace and outdoor seats, sun lounger and umbrella. Everything is done with love and care for detail.

We stayed half board which proved am excellent decision. Both the food, wine list and delivery of it all was superb. I had the best sole meunière I've ever tasted, so the food preparation & creativity was excellent.
All the staff were friendly and helpful and the housekeeping team were lovely despite my inadequate French.
Well recommended if you're in need of rest & recuperation.
My french isn't good enough!

Excellent location for the beach. Great restaurant. Friendly staff.
Not a big issue but… In our particular room there was a noisy door to the bathroom (the wood was possibly warped) - we were only staying 2 nights though so didn’t impact us too much.

Our room was quite small (a double room with no room for 2 suitcases), but acceptable.
Reception by the owner/manager was very poor. Monsieur either doesn't like British visitors or he just has a very offhand manner or because we had booked through Booking.com. We certainly didn't feel welcome. Very reluctantly gave me a glass of ice to take to our room. Even on checkout, he didn't make any attempt to look up from his desk; gave us our bill and said a curt au revoir. Such a shame as we liked the location, but front of house needs major improvement for us to do this. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner very disappointing.

Superb location within a 5 min walk of Plage des Dames, large room with comfortable bed, fantastic food and wine.

We loved this place. It was our first visit to Noirmoutier so it was pot luck but what a result. First, this is one of the prettiest places on the island. Unlike most of the island, this area around the Plage des Dames, is a wooded area with tall trees offering cooling shade. The beach is lovely but quite busy. The hotel is made up of rooms, all with their own terrace surrounding a pretty garden. We booked a Deluxe Double which I would recommend as it has a bigger terrace with a lounger which we enjoyed. The owners were charming and looked after us very kindly. We did not have the opportunity to have dinner at the property but the menu was very interesting.

Good choice at breakfast, Dinners excellent. Room well appointed, comfortable bed. Pleasant sitting out patio area for each room. Good large bathroom and two loos and basins. Short walk through the woods to idyllic beaches.
Breakfast buffet would have displayed choice better. Window in the room rather small for its size, a bit stuffy in hot weather. The rather unusual garden and buildings have lights everywhere, on all night. Lighting in bathroom could be better.

Beautiful facility, comfortable accommodations and an excellent restaurant, set in a beautiful location, close to the beach, what more could you ask for.

Very pleasant setting in a small forest near the beach. Spacious rooms with all amenities. Good breakfast and excellent dinner. Staff extremely friendly.
Hotel restaurant was closed for one night due to staff shortage (but this seems to be a general problem). Parking facilities a bit small (but at least the hotel has parking facilities, unlike lots of other places).

Well located, short walk from two beaches.
Nice room with private terrace and separate loo.
The man at reception. He was short, didn’t want to give us any restaurant recommendations: he just said it’ll be impossible. At a push, he was happy to fold down some pages of the island’s restaurant guide for us. Disappointing way to welcome guests! Seems he wanted to clock off at 1900. I’d expect a functioning reception and polite staff...
The gardens are disappointing: plastic grass (in the middle of a forest!) and furniture.

Room was excellent and is set around a garden which is very private, each room has its own seating area outdoors. It also has a private entrance from the garden directly onto a path in a pine forest giving direct access to 2 beaches. Dining room was following covid 19 protocol. Breakfast was very good as was dinner on our first night.Owners/Managers very friendly and also have their own dogs so very relaxed about 2 dogs being in our room.
I asked for a vegetarian option on 2nd evening as I am not a meat eater and also do not eat much fish. Was told something would be provided by chef. When meal arrived it was a plate of carrots in a sauce!!!!!! The cost for this was 15 euros. Considering the skill of the chef when cooking fish and meat and also the fact that there are many people who are now vegan or vegetarian and also others who are cutting meat consumption, I thought they could have been more imaginative. They were delicious carrots in a tasty sauce, but, don't think others would appreciate this as a meal.

The location is amazing (2min to get to the beach by foot), the room was perfect with a nice view and due to covid we could not eat at the hotel restaurant, but we had room service and it was more than perfect (and I presume it was more work for the staff but it was perfectly executed).
For the price, it would have been nice to have our stuff carried to the room but I am nit picking.
