Nice hotel with new facilities, very clean. Location is very practical, close to the beach, railway station and city centre. It has also enough big parking place. Friendly personal. Although railways are very close to the hotel, it didn’t much disturb (no trains in the night). Especially like the view on the sea from a balcony!
Glass doors to the toilet and shower, that have no isolation. It was a bit out of my comfort zone as you can almost everything hear and see.

It was a family vacation and we felt really nice there.

Very well run establishment with extremely friendly guy (I think he was called Chuvie) at reception. Hotel is clean and neat with great parking facilities. Beds were very comfortable and room size was good. The room had great ocean views and a lovely patio to sit and watch sunsets and sunrises. The refurbishments were well done and rounded off the room. All in all a great stay for sea side holidays and an occasional visit to Barcelona. The train station is a mere 500m away for easy travel to Barcelona.
Would really have appreciated a kettle or coffee station in the room.
The train passes in front of the hotel and could possibly cause noise disturbance to some.

The location was ideal for me. It was a lovely hotel, very friendly staff. Breakfast was lovely. Maybe a few extra choices. But overall a lovely experience.

wonderful friendly and helpful staff. lovely breakfast. really clean and fresh
good location but near train track although ok with ear plugs.

Probably one of the best places to stay in the area. Close to the beach and the restaurants area. Pool area was nice and staff was really friendly. Would definitely recommend this place for staying a few days in Canet del Mar
Thie wasn't unexpected - but the rooms although comfortable, are quite small.

We liked pretty much everything. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The room had everything needed, including a phenomenal view of the beach and sea from the balcony. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and so was the coffee (essential for me).
The railway line between the hotel and the sea was somewhat disconcerting meaning that it was necessary to close the windows in order to sleep. In reality the trains didn't appear to run during the night so it wasn't really a problem.

All the staff were wonderful, helpful in every possible way. A really warm atmosphere. The pool was perfect and surrounding garden perfectly maintained. Loved it will be coming back

It was a nice room, simple and bright. The pool was nice.
It was too close to the ground level and the guests were excessively loud some of the time. We specifically chose this hotel for more peace and quiet. Later the evening and the next day was however better. The owner was cordial but did not go out of his way to make the experience better when asked to change the room and suggested a view to the street..?!. It was a bit disappointing but it was ok. He might have offered something or tried to check in later to ask how we were. The room also looked directly into the train electrics so it was not as nice a view as we hoped. although of course the sea is still lovely . The sound of the train itself did not bother us but may be for some people. Tip: ask for a higher level room to avoid noise and a nicer view.

Beautiful sea view and close distance to Barcelona.
Room was clean and bed was comfy.

Really close to the beach, friendly and helpful staff. Modern and comfortable rooms.
Noisy neighbours not bothering to talk low voice in corridors or balconies at night.

Very well managed. Manager very helpful. Staff very friendly.
The air conditioning in the room wasn't working well. A kettle and a few teabags would have been appreciated. Room a bit cramped. The sofa bed took up a lot of room. The TV channels were poor.

This family-run hotel is relatively simple but perfectly clean and the rooms are nicely planned and furnished. I had asked for a room with a sea view and the view over the sparesly used beach is one of the great pluses of this hotel. The hotel has free parking, behind a gate which is closed at night.
The breakfast selection was relatively modest, but still OK and I can understand that there are limits to what a relatively small hotel can offer. I read that many of the reviews criticised the hotel for being noisy, either because of the train that passes by very near, or because of room neighbours. If one keeps the balcony door open the train can indeed be a bit disturbing, but if it is closed and one relies on airconditioning, one does not really hear it -- the sound isolation is very good. Perhaps I was just lucky, getting a corder room, but I heard nothing from any neighbours during my three-night stay.

The location is fantastic, our room with a balcony looked straight onto the beach. The staff were great, friendly, knowledgably and always had a warm smile.
There is a train track that runs between the hotel and the beach, but when you are looking at the fantastic views who cares!
The room could have been a little cleaner.

the location
the staff- in the night I am smoking a cigarette on the balcony and the receptionist is coming ver angry shouting from downstairs to tell me what I am smoking and making a caos in the middle of the night just for smoking on my balcony.
I wanted to trow him the cigarette to see.
very old and communist flavour.

The rooms and the whole hotel are very clean, modern and welcoming. The person on reception was also very welcoming, helpful and pleasant. Always happy to give us advice and help about the hotel and the village of Canet de Mar.
The clean, comfortable hotel. The guy on reception who was always helpful. The village of Canet de Mar which after our first doubts as buildings along the main road look a bit run down, we really loved. Some lovely modernista buildings to see, a visit to the castle, some memorable little bars and bistros.

One of the most charming hotels that I have stayed in for this price range. Went for a wedding, knew nothing of the area. Staff was extremely friendly, offering a beer on arrival and furnishing me with a lighter late at night. Rooms simple and impeccable. Construction, sound proofing, and cleanliness: superlative. Cannot go wrong here!
Really no criticism to offer. The breakfast was perhaps a bit continental for our tastes, but we still enjoyed the bread, cheese, and tomatoes. Honestly, just stay here — you will be pleasantly surprised.
