Loved the cup of life breakfast, the cozy and clean room, the handmade soaps, the kind service and the interesting location
Our room was noisy and we had trouble sleeping
4.5
Beautiful decor, comfortable beds, the organic restaurant is delicious, very clean.
A bit noisy for small children, if they have an earlier bedtime. I wished the windows latched for safety with small kids

My only issue was with noise at night. Our room was at the front of the hotel. I think a room overlooking the restaurant would have been much quieter. Other than that the plans was fabulous.

The staff was friendly and responsive. The hotel is clean and attractive.
The room (two beds) was very small with no closet or table or dresser for our suitcases. No nightstands or table with chairs. There was one uncomfortable small chair.
The pool is a nice retreat but a couple of blocks away and staff escort is necessary (they were very accommodating).

Included breakfast featured the copa de vida (fruit bowl w/ granola and yogurt) which was fantastic!
The patio where the restaurant is located is dreamy. Loved that there was a filtered water station for us to refill our water bottles on our floor. The open common areas had a great breeze. Great location and walking distance to boutique stores and restaurantsBetter. All and all a fantastic experience.
Better pillows.

very boutique feel, extremely clean and great food.
was slightly noisy as the staff was possibly working in the kitchen prepping in the night for the following day

This hotel was near my friend, Esteban Milliard. Also, it was downright charming and the dining choices were elegant and yummy.
The stairs.

The room itself was great! The additional room was perfect for doing yoga, having a snack, practicing my musical instrument. It was much bigger and nicer than I expected.
Unfortunately, there were a number of problems starting with confusion when I arrived, saying that check in was not til 3 even though I received confirmation through booking.com that I could check in at 11am. The owner actually started arguing with me about it. Bad start. No info was offered to me about my free breakfast thoughout my stay. I had forgotten about it til the last morning. That made me feel taken advantage of, like they were trying to get me to spend more money in the restaurant by not reminding me. One of the reasons I booked there was because of the restaurant but they were only open for dinner 1 of the 4 nights I was there. Another reason I booked there was the pool. That was a huge disappointment! Not only is the pool NOT ON SITE but it’s someone else’s home! It is only open 5 hrs each day and you must be escorted and let by staff!! That felt so weird. I feel this was false advertising to say you have a pool! There were 3 other main problems - one was access to filtered water and ice. Many times, the water dispenser on my floor was empty and wasn’t refilled despite several requests. I was told that since the restaurant was closed, ice was not available even though an ice bucket was provided in my room. It was difficult to track down front desk help as they were often not there - probably escorting people to the pool 😂😂😂 - and they provided no reliable to reach them (ie cell phone, what’s app, text messages, etc) except 1 staff member who gave me his private number which felt weird because sometimes he wasn’t working and I didn’t want to bother him. The last big problem was the noise - no, not from roosters but from the kitchen! My room was right above the open restaurant so it was very noisy. During the day was understandable but they did prep at night, blasting music and loudly yucking it up, not to mention the strong garlic smell wafting in at bedtime. I would not stay there again.

Staff was amazing. Food healthy and delicious. The room and lobby are beautiful.
A great place gor adults and older kids. It was a bit of a challenge with our 4 yr old. Windows didn't lock, and we were worried he might break some of the beautiful decor.

The staffs were very helpful and caring. My son got sick while we were staying at this hotel, and Saul was a hero helping us having a doctor to come to the hotel, helping my son to relieve his pain, asking me how my son is doing after his shift, and arranging the restaurant downstairs to make a special meal for my son next day. I have no idea how we did without Saul.
And this hotel is very very beautiful, and they have very tasty food downstairs.

Unique and cozy. I loved the one night they lit candles on the stairs - so beautiful and welcoming.
Rooms very small, no fridge for food leftovers. Continuous noise from restaurant below.

Saul was very helpful at the front desk. The room was beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable.
There was definitely some noise from the restaurant downstairs but it was beautiful music, so we didn't mind too much.

The food was healthy and delicious. The property was central to everything.
It gets pretty loud in the evenings early mornings making it a bit hard to sleep
