It was one of the nicest apartments on the street. It had a lift that we used to just take the luggage up to the room then after that we used the stairs. We were so close to all the facilities it was brilliant. They had complementary water sweets and condiments at the front door which was a nice touch.

Easy to collect keys, and hand back on departure. Lots of complimentary teas, coffees etc. Hosts were really friendly. Perfect location, and given free car park permit.
Bathroom was slightly dangerous for small children.,

The location was perfect. The studio was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Everything you needed was there and the extra touches, like complimentary drinks, chocolates, coffee machine etc made it a nice treat. The bed was really comfy and bathroom a treat. Will definitely be back, thank you.
Kitchen was tiny but had everything you need. We stayed in a studio. Was perfect for our 2 nights there but maybe not for a week self catering. Would just book a bigger room if we needed that next time though.

Central location
Buildings around were derelict.
Room very small (bed crammed against wall)
Poorly equipped ie only 1 spoon etc
Window didn't fit leaving 2 inch gap which made the room very cold and drafty and there was no heating available.
Advert shows lovely rooms but reality very different.

Location was handy for our stay, however due to other properties under restoration left the immediate area looking a bit unloved and run down.
Although a bath in the bedroom was nice.
And lots of free treats that could be had in entrance.
Could be a really nice property with a little money and thought being spent on it.
The property, facilities and decor needs an update and tidying up.
There was no breakfast vouchers due to booking with booking .com
Microwave and hob need to be codemed.
Needs a little work.
Has lift but very small and slow up to the room itself and electrics for lift actually in our room so everything lift used alerted us. Especially annoying in the evening / nighttime!
Also a lovely seagull would patrol the roof outside our window early in the morning looking for an opportunity if window left open.
Price a little high for what you would expect to pay.

Brilliant location complementary drinks and snacks in front entrance was a nice touch also lift to all floors made it easy to transpert luggage and good if you have bad mobility
Gap in window let in a draft and noise

All the little extra nice things
Sofa in front room too small for 2 people to sit on comfortably
7.0 / 10.0
Close to sea front and town center
Windows didn't close properly for a 4 star establishment it's the little things you notice you can give as many free chocolates out as you want and act as upmarket as you want but fix the windows and the holes in floor in the kitchen area your property is on par with a 2* b and b due to the condition run down and I would expect better for the money as it was very expensive for a few days stay and we expected better for the money it's just jazzed up and over inflated price

Could not fault the place. Studio apartment was all we needed. We didn't spend much time in the apartment but it was more than enough space and comfortable. The little treats in the lobby was such a nice touch and kids loved it.
Would definitely recommend this place. I did get a really good deal when I stayed and looking at prices for next year they have increased a lot bit I suppose that's like everything these days.

The rooms are clean, the added touches (free sweets, soft drinks and water at the front) and the people are all great.
We visited out of season so it was very quiet. We didn't mind.

Location, restaurant choice,
The amount of abandoned buildings that have been left to decay, no fault of the Carlton obviously.

Service was great. Lovely place, facilities and the bed was super comfy.
Only thing I'd say could be better was the sofa comfort but considering everything and price i was very pleased.
