Beautiful, quiet location with nicely updated accommodations in a small building with ocean views and a nearly private beach directly across the street. We shared the beach and 80 degree Fahrenheit water with no more than a dozen others. Costas is a very friendly, gracious host and does speak English. We were very pleased to end our trip to Greece at Alexandra Villas!

Comfortable apartment with fabulous sea view from deep balcony. Good air conditioning. Terrific location on quiet part of island within easy walking distance of 4 good restaurants. The owner Costas was very friendly and helpful. The cleaner cleaned the apartment during our stay also. To me it was like something out of a movie.
There is an infinity pool also. Sweet!
I would recommend you bring flip flops to access the sea, bit stony initially but becomes sandy quite quickly. There’s a lot of steps up to the apartment but it’s worth it for the view ( we were in the top apartment)

I thought the family were very nice- and we liked Maria, the mother and Spiros the son. Their restaurant was also very nice. We also liked the outside space at the apartment.
When we booked the pictures of the apartments at Villa Alexandra looked spacious and well decorated. We didn't get any of the apartments in the pictures, and instead got a small studio apartment which was about half the size of the ones we saw on Booking.com with none of the modern stylish decor we saw on line . We asked to change so that we could stay one of the apartments advertised for Villa Alexandra but were told it wasn't possible. The pictures of the exterior of the apartment and the close by beach also looked better than in real life. Still we had a good time, but it was expensive for what we got. Over 100Euros a night should get you real luxury in Greece, or at least it has done done previously.

Extremely clean, peaceful, comfortable, amazing sea view from the top apartment, nice little swimming pool (shared with only 2-3 other apartments, lit up at night!).
The owner and his family are very nice and accommodating. The family restaurant is very close (walking distance), and you can pay to eat breakfast a the family hotel nearby.
The beach is just across the road from the apartments and it is very nice and peaceful, with clear water, enough to see the fishes! Sunbeds are provided for free.
The apartments are cleaned daily (and thoroughly), and the room towels are often swapped with fresh ones.
There's plenty of parking nearby, whether down by the shore or slightly higher near the stairs to the apartments.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a small fridge with freezer compartment, a microwave oven, stove, and an oven, it's quite possible to cook your own food.
The beds were large and comfortable, and each room has its own air conditioning unit. All the windows are equipped with screen doors against mosquitoes.
The wi-fi was very spotty (disconnections every few minutes). It was very hard to communicate with the cleaning lady (no English, no Greek). The electrical wiring was really poor (turning on the boiler or the air conditioning made the lights flicker badly).

Second time we have stayed here and we'll certainly stay again. Boukari is beautiful, Kostas is the perfect host. The breakfast at The Hotel Penelope was superb. Towels and bedding changed every day. Beautiful views. Just perfect

We adored our stay. Loved the fact that there was a quiet beach opposite that wasn’t too populated. We swam in the sea most days, it was calm and clear, absolutely beautiful. Kotas was a fabulous host, very happy to help. We also ate good food most days at the family Taverna. It was lovely to hear the sound of of waves when we were lying in our beds.

Beautiful location by the sea. Costas and family very welcoming. Food at the Boukari Beach Tavern was excellent.
