Groundfloor rooms too nearby the lobby with lobby noise

Breakfast was good and hotels location made it ideal for travelling around the region. We made maximum use of local buses and trains - so easy to use and great value.
A bar and lounge area, but the hotel doesn't have the room.

Nice room, perfect location right beside the train station, very friendly and helpful staff.
The breakfast was okay but just a tip, maybe go to a local café if you want a proper coffee.

Good location, but next to the train station.
Heard trains in the middle of the night, and the bathroom had a bad smell until we flushed the toilet multiple times and ran the sink. Not sure when the room had been rented previous to us, but it had a sewer smell. Once we ran the water it cleared.

location was perfect for us, next t to the station. it is however, quite a hike to the old town
bit of fresh paint needed

Excellent that hotel is so close to the station and the centre of town. The breakfast room was rather crowded one day at 8am, but was much more comfortable the next day at 8.30am.
The square in front of the hotel and station was rather noisy from 5am / 6am.

Close to the station and easy walk to main street, port and old city. We were surprised how nice Solerno was to visit. Much better than Naples. Thanks for recommending Resturant Calamares close by.
Smokers outside front door .

The location of the hotel is convenient, you step out of the train station and there it is, practically the same building. The room was basic, nothing special. From the breakfast I liked the butter croissants and jams. The staff was kind.
There were several things I didn't like: first of all I think this hotel is very overrated, too expensive for what it offers. We had the room just behind the reception and a few minutes before 7 a.m. the noise started, first some of the staff speaking loudly then you could hear almost everything from the breakfast room. So all the reviews regarding the noise were true. Even if the room was double we had only one chair and one clothes hanger. After stepping out of the shower one should be very careful not to hit the sink because there is so little space in between. The breakfast is mostly sweet and doesn't vary at all (pastry, cakes, muffins, jams). For salty options you have just one type of cheese and one of ham, that's it. Fresh fruit is too much to expect, since apples, pears and bananas are left there for several days. For a short stay, maybe 1 night, this hotel is ok, but for a longer one, 4 nights like we had, it's a pretty poor choice.

The staff, the coziness and the location next to the train station.

Location was perfect, most of our stay was nice and the room was clean. However...
The 24 hour desk wasn't quite like that. We were spending a Saturday night out with a friend and when we returned to the hotel the door was locked. There was a sign that ordered us to call or ring the bell, but no one answered. We ended up waiting 3,5 hours outside until the sun was up. Didn't get to sleep at all... The man who opened the door blamed us for not calling (our local friend also called). Fortunately the rest of the staff were very nice and felt really bad for what had happened. We got a refund, which was such a nice gesture. Of course, the whole ordeal left a bit of sour taste because we really needed the sleep.

Convenient for the ferry and the railway station, with fast connections to Paestrum and Naples Airport. Staff were friendly, responsive and helpful with early check in and looking after our bags until we could check-in. The hotel is what you would expect for a lower cost station hotel in a town centre.
The noise from the railway station! We were fully aware of the proximity to Salerno station (which suited us for one night given our itinerary) and also the issues with railway noise from other reviews, and whilst we had asked for a quiet room, which we were given and which protected us from the noise of comings and goings in front of the station, we could still hear trains and were woken up at 5am and couldn't go back to sleep! Unlike some more modern station hotels I have used, were I have had no problems, this hotel seems to be acoustically coupled to the tracks and you cannot sleep well, even if you are heavy sleepers, as we are. Although the hotel is centrally located, it is a long walk through town to the historic areas of Salerno. The bed was very hard, which we like, but it may not suit everybody.

Really friendly helpful staff, generous breakfast, large clean rooms
Not much I didn't like but, in the interests of the environment, it would be good if you have an option to not wash the towels daily.

Clean comfortable and well located right next to the train station. Walking distance to the ferry terminal and plenty of food choices nearby.

It was a great location--right next to the train station. It was clean, well designed, quiet given its location, and the staff were very friendly. They were accommodating in terms of leaving our bags before and after check-in while we toured.

thé location can’t be bitten.
Magdalena at the reception was exceptional. thanks to her for moving my luggage in the room already for early checkin. also switching on the AC. the views from the terrace are incredible.
there is no elevator😂I mean if you are travelling with. a heavy suitcase, good luck to you. it’s death by the time you reach the reception, especially in hot weather. the flush in my toilet is not working. there was no window for view but terrace was good. the bathroom is very small.
