Owner was very helpful. Within 10 minutes of arriving he had organized a safari tour and transportation to Weligama at reasonable rates. Highly recommend the safari, Isuru was an excellent guide and driver ensuring we got every opportunity to view leopards and elephant etc. A yummy prepared breakfast pack was organized by the owner for our safari and the welcome drinks and pancakes were much appreciated. Definitely recommend.

A great place to chill.

A lovely, private cabin overlooking rice paddies. The room is spacious, the internet fast and it has a TV. The owner has a great safari connection - Ishuru Day Safari Tours- and the room has a great handwritten recommendation book. We loved it here.

Beautiful wooden house with great views.

This is a wooden house at the bottom of the garden overlooking open fields. It's a lovely setting. We loved the room, but be aware being wooden it is rustic and sound travels. But still very charming and we loved it. The host was lovely and arranged an amazing safari at a very competitive price. ( Go for the whole day not half day...it's far better value and you see a lot more...it was only in the last ten minutes we saw a leopard, which came and laid down in front of our jeep) Breakfast was fantastic and far more than we could actually eat. Aircon works a treat.

Exceptional

We had a great stay at the Green View. Warm welcomes from the owner on arrival. Front row parking for our Tuk Tuk at a beautiful jungle chalet with incredible views and nice surroundings. Booked a Half day Yala Safari as well, Truck was super nice, private trip for 3 guys. Saw a ton of game at the park with a great driver too! Would def recommend Green View for your stay in Yala!

The green view Yala is spectacular pleace. Wooden house, with amazing view and equipment. The host organized for us pick up from Ella, trip to Yala safari, delicios breakfast and much more.

Lovely owners!

The owners were super helpfull! They made us feel welcome and arranged a good safari trip. They made us good breakfast what we could bring to the safari. Room is clean with a nice view at the rice fields. When we left, they even arranged our transport (driver with tuktuk). The driver did not only took us safely to the place where we needed to be but also showed us around. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it.

The cottage is just wonderfull. The garden view is magnificent and in the room you have everything you need at your disposal. The hosts are superfriendly and will arrange for you everything you need. Breakfast was delicious. A recommendation!

We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for two nights to do a Safari in Yala national park. We had a very good time at the Green View. The owner was very nice and helpful. They organised a taxi for us to get from Weligama to Tissa and they also arranged the Safari Tour for us. The driver was well experienced and did a great job. The room we stayed in was cosy and clean and had a cool Safari-feel to it. The view from the balcony over the rice paddy fields and the well-kept garden was beautiful.

great stay in the cabaña

the familly treated us very well all the time aware of us. the place is exactly as you can see on the pictures. a5 min walking to the main street. the hoster even took us to the bus station. . huge breakfasr.

Very lovely house and family in Tissamaharama

The host family was amazing, very kind and helpful! They welcomed us warmly, even though we arrived a bit late in the evening. They also offered one week in advance to organize for us a full day Safari tour in Yala National Park, which included a private jeep and driver, a delicious local breakfast and lunch. The house was beautiful, surrounded by coconut trees and lovely decorations. We fully recommend this place!

Beautiful place

The place is beautiful, I liked the wooden interior in the chalet and the garden, especially that there are hammocks. The owners were ready to organize the safari for us but we had another one booked in advance, for the same price. They gave us a good local breakfast for the safari and prepared a coffee for our departure. Another breakfast was also good, and the owner organized a tuk-tuk for us to Weligama for a reasonable price, including visiting couple of interesting places on our way. I can definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful Accommodation & Perfect Host

Beautiful Accommodation & Perfect Host Lovely wooden chalet with stunning views over rice fields from terrace. 5 minute walk from a couple of good restaurants and only a 5 minute to the lake. Bus station 15 mins walk or short Tuk Tuk ride. Breakfast ample & very tasty and WiFi that actually works!! Thank you very much for our stay.

Beautiful location, with lovely hosts.

The location is beautiful. And fascinating to be in a working rice factory location. The family is lovely. The room was beautifully put together.

The breakfast provided for the Safari was not great. It was the toasted sandwiches with eggs, which I think is a shame when Sri Lankan breakfast is so much better. A small fridge in the room would be really helpful to prepare for being on a safari all day, as you could keep things cool before going out.

At one with nature & friendly hosts

This accommodation consists of a seperate annex with 2 rooms (one upstairs with AC and one downstairs without AC) overlooking lush green paddy fields. THE appartment is made of natural materials so nicely blends in with nature. A good mosquito net and comfy bed is provided. These super friendly hosts went out of their way to accommodate every wish and serve an amazing Sri Lankan meets continental breakfast.

Awesome breakfast, great location ! Isuru organised the Safari to Bundala NP and Yala with Indipendant Jeep Association, we had a great pleasure to meet Herat Gunapala, great man, very experienced , and safe driver! We highly recommend to ask for him! Isuru is a great host and very friendly, and the wife she is a great cook! Thanks again! Meri Eddie and Roberto!
