Incredible place

Very friendly staff, beautiful place, such a shame we could not stay for longer! Will definitely want to come back and go on the lake. You can use boats and kayaks for free. Great for families. There are different options: cabins, glamping, tent space and place for campervans.Definitely recommend!

The cabins decoration is quite old but I think it gives something special to this place :) Bring your own sleeping bag as there are no duvets/pillows inside but you can pay for these if you forgot at check in.

Lovely peacefull lakeview location, good value ratio

At the time of our stay not a lot of campers / tents where there. So for me this piece and silence was perfect. The location is very nice next to the lake, with free use of the boats and kayaks that where there. The weather was nice and we were lucky to have a beatifull view of the lake with a nice sunset color palet.

If i have to add some comment. We stayed in a wooden cabin, and it could have been a bit more clean. For me personally it didn't bother me. But for my partner it did bother her a bit.

Beautiful location, very helpful host/owner.

Loved to stay for a night at this beautiful lake, in a nice hut Since I was on a motorcycle, I didn't have bed sheets with me. The owner was kind enough to help me out on this.

Bathroom and toilets are shared with the camping. It was ok, but if I need to mention something that can be improved it would be this.

Exceptional

Just a beautiful place. Not overcrowded and plenty of space around you, if you camp or take a cabin. Kids loved the beach, creek, treetent 😀 and trampoline. Fantastic balance between nature and facilities. Good food at reception too.

beautiful!

we stayed in the cabin with the balcony. incredible views and location. beautiful beaches and hikes. so quiet and peaceful. good value for money. the cabin was basic & small but perfect for a nights stay. there was a clean and tidy communal kitchen, bathrooms and showers and also communal fire pit. the hosts were really friendly, nice little pub at the entrance. i recommend!

charge for linen sheets which is normal in Norway were a strange material - like hospital undergarments. not a negative but people have mentioned this and it’s not so bad as it looks! we slept well.

Nice view over the water, and close to the nature. You could pick blueberries in the forest closed up to the cabins, and it was very calm and peaceful. If you are lucky you can see moose and other wild animals from the view from the simple balcony in front of the cabins.

The cabin we got, was not properly washed out (Included in the price) In one of the disposable cups, we found a used snuff left from the previous tenants. Very simple Standard, but OK for one night sleep for 2 simple motorcycle riders traveling through Telemark

Nice view over lake and mountains. A brook right next to cabin. Helpful and cheerful owner. Tesla charger.

Equipment of cabin very old. It needs renovation! Everywhere was mouse poop! Not suitable for family with small kids.

Camp site in a scenic spot, but worn down cabin. Bring your own tent or campervan for best stay.

Scenic camp site close to lake. Almost mirror-like setting on evening of arrival. Telemark Camping is best for campers in a motorhome/campervan or in a tent. If staying overnight in a cabin, check it before you pay.

1-night stay. Cabin no. 4 was old and worn down. The bed (bunk bed style) was very thin. Sofa bed was not very clean and in poor condition. Kitchen utensils etc. missing from drawers and cubboard. When turning on the stove the electricity in cabin shut down. Never got around to fixing it and staff (otherwise friendly) was not present on-site for immediate help. The cabinet only had 1 clothes hanger and no shelves! There may be other cabins in better shape, but the one we got (no. 4) was not worth it at all. Check cabin before you pay! We never had a chance to settle the above issues as we had to leave early.
