Friendly staff
Amazing location
Be there on a Monday: there is a night market with local specialties during summer months
A bit run-down
4.1
Beautiful setting and so peaceful and quiet.
4.1
Good breakfast, good range of choices with fresh fruit and nuts
would have liked to have been able to have a drink when we arrived (e.g. outdoor bar/cafe)

Beautiful place, superbly located, Lascaux IV is a short
walk away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The
room was luminous, spacious and clean. The woodland
surrounding the chateau means it is very tranquil at
night. Great stay!

Beautiful Setting! A delightful place.
4.1
Friendly service, top location, cool and comfy room with terrace, cool inside the rooms even though we arrived during a heatwave! Refreshing swimming pool and in close distance to the world famous cave and museum Lascaux!

Staff was friendly and helpful. The apartment, and equipment, is a bit old, but everything works fine and adds to the atmosphere. Who wants to stay in a Chateau where everything is new and modern? That would take away from the experience, in my opinion. Location is fantastic! The whole place is great. We had a great visit and will hopefully return some day. Pool is nice.
We booked an apartment. I missed it in the property policies at first glance, but you either need to bring your own linens and towels, or rent them. We rented. Not a problem, just so you know. Wifi can be spotty. Its usually not a very populated area, but in tourist season it gets very busy so it puts a strain on internet connectivity. If you go in high season, make sure you have a good data plan for your phone if you need internet access.

Staying in this castle was a wonderful experience. My room, with a corner turret, was bright, cheerful, very comfortable, and had beautiful views. Breakfast was delicious and they were very accommodating with my dietary requirements. The family was all very friendly and helpful; I was made to feel "at home". I stayed for five nights and got so comfortable, swimming laps every day in the lovely clean pool and going for long walks, that I didn't want to leave! I especially loved the thunder storms every night but waking up to sunny, warm days every day!
Everything was perfect.

Location
The photos are very far from reality. Neglected surroundings. There was no sence of hospitality at all. Totally overpriced! Definatly don't recomend this property!

Location was fine and the pool was nice (esp. its size). That is almost all that was clearly positive, in particular regarding the high rate the owner is charging.
Where should I start from ? WiFi was advertised, but it was not working (not in the building next to the mansion/castle where our room with balcony was situated, right next to the router; sometimes not even on the lawn in front of the small castle, where even cell phone had a hard time to catch a decent signal allowing reasonable quality phone conversations). I doubt that it was just 'temporary', as owner has claimed. Moreover, rooms have rather thin walls and, especially, the 2 extra beds were basic and not comfortable. Room decoration, shower, toilet etc were (less than) average, compared to what I've seen elsewhere in many places. Disappointing, especially for the high rate the owner is charging (320 eur/night/room of 4). Its location next to Lascaux IV doesn't justify such rate and little care for the quality of property and stay.

Very nice people running the chateaux. Lovely place, just a 5-10 min drive from the village in rural settings. Breakfast was nice in the big room in the castle. Pool was large. And WIFI was ok/wobbly.
I think it would be helpful that the rooms are correctly depicted. We ordered a room with a balcony. Non of the 200+ photo’s on booking matched the actual room and it was in de side building. This all was perfectly fine, (lovely views over countryside) but should have been more clear.

Great spacious room for a family of 4, clean, very good service
Would be so great to have a restaurant on the grounds

The castle is very well renovated and with very good standard. The location in the forest with a short distance to town is perfect. If you want to see the Lascaux cave there is a short walk from the castle through the forest. The owner and host is very nice and supportive.
Nothing really.

Not a good Wellcome. Working by principle: "The guest is wrong". Par example, it is written that there is air conditioning. In fact there are not any. But "You should be happy, you live in the castle".

Location
The host, the place was lovely once And now run down , they charged £50 for a little dog for just 2 nights, you couldn’t book in to 6 at night and we got there a 2 and had to wait nobody was there, the toiletries were non existent for the money they charged, just one small bar of soap. Pascal who seems to be running it did not care. All bad and cost a fortune.
