Muskegon summer
We enjoy the accessibility to parks, the relative seclusion, and the space. The owners are very responsive to any issues that occasionally arise.

Muskegon Summer
Not ultra modern, but a private, charming and roomy cottage with the necessities we needed for an enjoyable summer in Muskegon. The owners, Wendy and Mike, were responsive to our needs, and the location, a short drive from parks and beaches was very convenient for out-of-doors summer activities. We'll visit again.

Great stay
My family stayed at this house for 3 nights while we were in town for a funeral. The house was very nice and was nearby to all the family I was visiting. I would definitely rent this property again.

My family and I stayed in September; it was clean, comfortable, and we had all we needed. It's far enough away from the center of town to be quiet and safe; yet everything in town was close enough to reach quickly. We hope to stay next year, also.

Wonderful family site
Wendy has done an amazing job renovating an old home to have all the modern amenities needed. We loved the multiple bedrooms so all had their own space, but excellent living room and dining room for together time. Also we used their "bags" set outside, we could have had a campfire, she has a volleyball area that could be scheduled. GREAT facility. We enjoyed our stay!

We had a girls weekend and stayed at the Hidden Gem house, it was fantastic! The house was exactly as described and pictures were accurate. Check in and check out process were very easy. The house was very clean and linens and bedding were plentiful. The house had more than enough space for the 8 of us, lots of sitting space for visiting. The yard games provided were a blast. Property was quiet but close to everything. The house came with all the necessities and there was nothing that we found we needed that we didn’t have. It was a great weekend and we will be back! Wendy was a great communicator and made sure we had everything that we needed as well as offering to provide things if we needed other items. Great experience and great stay!

Wonderful Paradise
I travelled to Michigan on leave from the Army and came across this property. The location for this property is excellent. A short drive to Grand Haven and downtown Muskegon. Wendy was an excellent host and she was quick responding to my texts and messages. Also, she gave excellent recommendation on things to do as well as places to eat. The house is spacious and has everything you need! I would 100 percent recommend this property to anyone traveling on west side of Michigan

Great space for family
The property offers lots of space to rest comfortably and a large kitchen with all the essentials for “cooking at home.” It was clean and beds were comfy. Owners were very kind and welcomed us using their beach volleyball net. We look forward to returning here in the future.

Modern conveniences with old time charm
The Hidden Gem was perfect for our visit to Muskegon. We came to xc ski and snowshoe before the snow is gone and we were just minutes away from the Winter Sports Complex. Plenty of places to eat nearby.
The place is spacious, clean, and updated. Bathrooms are great. Our beds were comfy and cozy.
We would be happy to stay here again!

Great location close to Muskegon Winter Sport Complex & Lake MI Dunes
Stayed in February 2019 for a family winter outing. Clean, cozy, plenty of room for our family of six adults (plus one unused bedroom with bunk beds). One of the bedrooms is on the small size and mattress a bit thin, other two roomy and comfy.
House has a couple nice size tables, nice size kitchen with all the basic necessities, cozy living room.
Close to Winter Sports Complex where we ice skated and cross country skied. Close to Lake Michigan.
We were happy with the stay and Wendy communicated well. Good instructions, menus, etc in the House. Plenty of good places to eat, grocery stores, pharmacy, activities in the area.

Good location and had everything we needed and more!
Overall it was great. There was a small misunderstanding with the owner of the property trying to charge us for damage that we didn’t do but a simple phone call took care of it. FYI, if you ever see anything broken or damaged when you enter a property, you should report to the owner promptly. This would have helped in this situation.

Great space and owners
Has a great stay at this house. Rooms were really nice and everything we needed was provided. Only drawbacks were no cable, the house uses well water, and the Keurig didn’t work with regular Kcups. But the owner was very responsive to questions and great to work with.

Lovely weekend here
The property was very nice for our family to share this weekend. The house was extremely clean and very cozy! Everything was very nice and uncluttered.
We felt right at home. Wendy, the owner accommodated our needs and was able to have the home ready for our early arrival. For this we are quite grateful.
It was a short ride to the water where we were able to watch a gorgeous sunset! The house itself had lots of space in it for everyone and the beds were quite comfortable. It had most of what we needed when we arrived.
The only suggestion I have is to stop at a store for drinks, coffee, creamer and sweetener if you wish to have them available upon your arrival. Best to get extra paper towels and extra toilet paper or at least know that you will need to provide it if you need more than one roll that is initially provided. I would highly recommend this house.
