internally looks great, open plan.
closer inspection was very dirty and not cleaned efficiently! could do with a blind on the mezzanine velum window. Bright sunlight on a morning.

Everything, such a cosy, comfortable stay. Gorgeous property. Great service and such quick response with contact I made.
Honestly, I couldn’t fault it. I liked everything about it.
2.5 / 5.0
The wine and chocolates on arrival were a nice touch.
There are no curtains on main windows are any blinds on the main roof window, meaning from dawn its BRIGHT. The heating directs to the top floor bedroom which makes it difficult to regulate the temperature meaning you swap between having the heater on and having the door open. The view is of the IGA and the allocated parking space is very difficult to maneuver in and out of. Also lots of road traffic and noise from dawn to dusk. Very small bathroom and the beds are rather small for two adults.
2.0 / 5.0
No normal tea bags, no blinds on the window so the street lights were steaming in the windows all night, very poor quality towels , beds uncomfortable, stairs going to the up stairs apartment slippery , they need slip tape on them , very over priced, only one wall heater for the apartment.

We loved how clean it was and the size of the apartment. The complimentary wine on arrival was a nice touch. It was easy to find and get in. The place is modern and comfortable. Would highly recommend.
There was no wifi. And needs more basic condiments (eg. EBTea, oil, salt/pepper)

The space was good
The apartment needed a good clean. There was grime on the cupboards, and dust/dirt on the window shelves, rubbish under the beds and sofa. The wifi was useless, didn’t work, no cable TV.
The shower head was broken and l noticed this was in a review in December and still not fixed.
A dirty place and would not recommend for the money.

Needs notice to advise necessary to turn on hot water-cold shower!! And usual to have fresh tea bags etc available.
3.5 / 5.0
The stairs outside were a problem for us as quite steep when handling luggage and the stairs inside were somewhat creaky so couldn’t quietly use them without disturbing the other occupant. The shower head needs replacing as it kept falling down during use. The apartment whilst clean and nicely arranged is showing signs of needing some attention

The house was very comfortable and well furnished. Some complementary treats and wine were a great touch. The owners were very kind and responsive.
The house was very noisy, especially at night.

Appalling False Advertising and Disgraceful Condition of So Called Luxury
Accommodation
Have just endured as passionate travellers the most disgusting “luxury” accommodation stay
in over 50 years of travelling!
We thought we’d support the ailing local tourism industry in Portland following the covid
shutdown. For $400 per night discounted to $361 this is what we endured and all
comments are supported by photos.
Entry via an uneven dirt driveway into a building work site, then up very high stairs to access
apartment. Couldn’t work the tiny TV, set up with three devices and three controllers. Called
owner, who we found is based in Melbourne, who initially wasn’t really concerned, but said
she’d have someone come to fix it. The owner’s son called, from Melbourne, and offered to
talk through a multiple step set up. Given we paid $361 we said we were not interested in
becoming TV technicians and that she needed to get someone to fix it as promised. A very
helpful technician arrived and got the TV working, after some work and agreed this was
something we would never have worked out. Lots of signs telling us not what to do but
nothing telling us how to do.
On our second call the owner said no one had ever complained before and that she had
wonderful reviews. So now after 1 hour of waiting this is what we discovered in our luxury
accommodation. Cobwebs across top of bedside lamp and mirror on balcony. All glass,
windows, tabletop and shower screen were filthy, oily and sticky. Dirty and damaged sink,
damaged surfaces on kitchen cupboards. Dirty dishwasher.
When using the handbasin in the bathroom the water flowed out of the drain in the centre of
the bathroom, flooding the floor. Our luxury package included a cake of basic house soap,
no shampoo, conditioner and the usual items provided at most accommodations.
