Really crappy.

Location

Dirty rubbish left under the bed that was reported after my first nights stay but not cleaned at all. Shelves & bench tops were grubby. Bathroom not cleaned well. But worst of all the whole place was under construction & had been for past 18 months yet booking.com did not disclose this. I had booked & stayed two weekends in a row & by the time I realised the state of the place, including workmen hammering up a ladder outside my window at 7.30am! The next weekend with no other accommodation left in town I was forced to stay again & charged twice once by hotel & once by booking.com. It was a terrible experience and a very poor reflection on booking.com and I’m still waiting on the refund because the responsibility was on me to prove I had be charged double.

I hope the renovations include the hotel rooms! Everything needs upgrading especially the shower. And it needs a toilet paper holder that the toilet oaper stays on & not fall off everytime it's used!

Bateau Bay Hotel

Staff were fantastic and did the best they could to fix our issues. Bed was comfortable.

Hotel was under major renovations which we were not told. Was woken at 7.30am to excavators dropping huge bucket loads of rocks and rubble into metal bins, on top of that they had turned off the power. Manager got an extension lead set up for us so we could have a cuppa. He changed our room for our 2nd night to fix power issues but it didn't help with the noise issues. There was no discount either on the cost of the room.

The bed was very comfortable and I love the shower. Best value for money. I will definitely be back for my next business trip.

Pleasant

The location is very central al close to many beaches. The food is great as well as the restaurant and facilities there. The garden was beautiful and nice to have breakfast in the rooms terrace. It was just fine to stay for a weekend considering the price.

The rooms are very dated and need renovation which made them look more dirty than they were. The bathrooms are what need better clean and renovation.

Good value for money. Very quiet despite being near the busy highway. The room served our purpose, was comfortable and there was a private outdoor sitting area which was very nice. The food was delicious at the Bistro and very relaxing as lots of space. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

Good overnight accommodation.

Quite no road noise Good food Room basic but comfortable with a good mattress. Only soap in the shower, take your own shampoo but this did not bother us.

Good value, comfortable and clean motel style accommodation approximately 1.5 hours out of Sydney

LOCATION IS convenient and easy to find by following GPS directions. Very good value for money. Good selection of reasonably priced meals. Room was clean and comfortable. Walk or drive to Bateau Bay beach.

Bathroom could do with a little renovation. Not necessarily close or central to anything else in the area, but value for money compensates for that.

Comfortable and Great as usual

We often stay here at BBH . Its comfortable and mostly quiet also . We love that we have have an excellent meal/ drink and then walk to our room .

Overall great value for the money I paid.

The price is unbeatable. The bed linen was clean and the air conditioner was a huge plus.

The property was dated, the front door lock jammed all the time and the bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned but after some cleaning it was excellent. Also facilities such as a pool were lacking.

Close to all amenities the pub was great terrific for families with small kids I'd recomend it

Right at the carpark was a bit of putting but in general it was fine there wasn't any real noise or disturbances I realise because of covid there are major setbacks for all but I think it's time for an internal refurbishment also there should be a chain lock on the back door but overall it was pleasant stay

Perfect weekend hotel

The closeness to the places we were visiting and the overall vibe of the hotel.

The bed was the only downside. It was very uncomfortable and I unfortunately did not get a good night's sleep.
