Lovely secluded hotel with beautiful grounds and pool. We were there during a heatwave when there were issues with the airport and the staff were lovely - very helpful and professional

Excellent hotel, very good value. Beautiful setting

The design of the hotel is elegant and sophisticated. The pool and grounds are spectacular. Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is very good. Overall, excellent hotel.

The location is a bit interesting, you are in a suburb of Catania. Not really a walkable area, but most key tourist activities are a drive in any case, so not an issue

This stay exceeded all expectations - great authentic experience

Amazing property with lovely people, exceptional breakfast and restaurant, and authentic rooms. I appreciate the design and authentic decoration a lot, the meals were delicious (both breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant), the garden and pool are lovely. Everyone was very pleasant and welcoming.

I only booked one night in this property - I should have stayed longer :)

Comfortable stay in a beautiful villa.

Beautiful site and building, comfortable, and a delicious breakfast. It was very convenient to all local sites, including Etna, Catania, an Taormina, and lots of street parking.

stunning in every sense

beautiful property. the photos do not do it justice superb decor fantastic pool area (although a little chilly for October) huge, comfortable bedroom warm and helpful staff location next door to a small vineyard - ‘Benanti’

the restaurant food was good, but high end. some simpler menu options would have been appreciated. we were there towards end of the season (end Oct) and it felt like things were closing down (the bar area was not in use for example)

The design of the hotel and interiors, the attention to detail, the restaurant, and the very helpful and friendly staff.

It would have been good if the hotel had a fitness centre or a gym especially on rainy days we couldn’t use the pool

The property is beautiful. The two restaurants on the property were very good. The waitstaff was phenomenal.

I wish we would of made reservations at a local winery beforehand. Surely the concierge would of been happy to help us do this.

Excellent service, beautiful boutique hotel with personal attention

Staff was super friendly, also with our 3 kids (7,4,0).

Although they were superfriendly to our kids, its more a relax hotel, not very focused on kids (no kids menu, late opening restaurant)

Relaxing stay

The hotel is stunning. It is kept in immaculate condition, the pool is clean, the interiors are stunning and the gardens are beautiful. We also enjoyed using the services onsite, such as the gym and the restaurant. The food is excellent and I would highly recommend going here. The gym is also very well equipped. The staff were very helpful and attentive to our needs. We didn’t do much in the local area as the Viagrande region is very residential, however for what we wanted it was perfect. On our final day we visited a vineyard which was 5 min walk from the hotel for a wine and food pairing session.

We had asked the staff for taxi bookings twice during our stay (you will need either taxis or a rental car to get around) but the quotes they provided us with were far too expensive. When we looked into booking our own taxis we got them for half the price they were quoting. It was very family orientated - lots of kids by the pool.

beautiful, but expect to pay!

The property and the general experience - it was beautiful and truly relaxing. it is more beautiful than the photos and the views were incredible. the staff were friendly and welcoming

i didn’t like that the hotel had insane prices - I understand it is an upmarket hotel, but in general I felt that it had a spirit that didn’t feel generous. we paid a great deal of money to stay there, and then the cost of beverages were massive, to pay €15 for a drink by the pool is a little outrageous, and to have to also pay for parking on top. the prices of the food were also expensive - which I don’t mind paying, but only if the food was outstanding, which I didn’t feel it was. it is difficult because I do think it was a beautiful place but I left feeling a little cheated. if you stay here you have to expect it will cost you a lot more than just the accommodation.

Great atmosphere and service

Nice tranquil atmosphere with smooth jazz in background. Extremely helpful and competent reception staff offering restaurant recommendations and input to our day tours. Lots of good choices at breakfast buffet. Two high quality restaurants at the hotel although not really for kids. Good location between Catania, Taormina and Etna.

Amazing hotel

This hotel was one of the most beautiful and stylish I’ve stayed at. Everything was perfect - really comfortable beds, breakfast and other meals were delicious, staff were really caring and attentive. Rooms very comfortable and cleverly designed. Just loved everything about it.

Absolutely nothing. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. We’ll return at some point and stay again.
