The best view in town

Location overlooking the iconic bridge of Lucerne is ideal. The hotel is located in an aged building, with the restrictions that comes with that.

Nice stay in a beautiful town!

Wonderful location. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed

We had a room which faced the back streets. This made for less airflow during some hot days/nights. Front rooms facing water looked much more comfortable.

Perfectly located hotel.

Great hotel just across the bridge from the station right next to the river in a beautiful location. The staff were helpful and welcoming and the room was clean and comfortable. I had dinner in their beautiful restaurant that had indoor and outdoor seating with picture-perfect views of Chapel Bridge. The food was delicious and the service was great.

Having to leave after only one night. Luzern is a beautiful city

Great location in old town Lucern

A great location on the water just a few minutes walk from the train station. The room was comfortable and had what we needed for a few nights stay. We appreciated the discount coupons for the restaurant that were provided with the room.

It was quite expensive - more than $50 per person for breakfast, for example. $9 for basic coffee, charges for water at the table, etc. The discount coupons were very much appreciated given the prices.

best view of the Chapel Bridge

View from our room is superb. the room is larger than expect. Hotel is walkable distance from the train station about 10 minutes. The hotel can be reach on restaurant side.

When first arrival from the restaurant side, the staff in restaurant is too busy to tell us to use the elevetor. Luckily other hotel guest suggest us.

Lovely hotel

Excellent location near the train station and across from the main wooden bridge. Breakfast voucher was a bonus and the breakfast was nice. Staff was very welcoming.

Great location. Rooms vary so beware

Location and the staff were great. This is our second visit in 3 weeks.

This visit we were given a room next to the elevator and the cleaning staff closet. It was very noisy and the room was much smaller than the room we got for our first visit. I was quite disappointed as I had high expectations from last visit.

We would stay here again

Excellent, informative staff, with excellent English. Restaurant dinner was superb. Vouchers for restaurant given at check-in were very helpful. Housekeeping did a very good job. Ask for Room 230. Great view of historic Chapel Bridge

4 night stay in our favourite Swiss city - a lovely experience hopefully we’ll repeat again

Lovely room with balcony & lake/alps view - fantastic breakfast menu - staff were always friendly & obliging - so comfortable & quiet - great beds, coffee machine with replenished capsules, little box of local chocolates on arrival couldn’t ask for more!

A great stay in the centre of historic Luzern

Great location close to the centre and train station. The staff were lovely. There was a coffee machine in the room and biscuits were left for us which was a nice touch. The hotel breakfast in the restaurant was lovely.

The room was a bit small and hot. There is no air conditioning but we were provided with a fan. There was a duvet and no sheet which made it hot to sleep.

location is perfect, central to everything, train station, shops, and sight seeing.

Nice location but no a/c and super tiny shower

Great location and super nice staff. Breakfast is super - not a buffet though.

No air conditioning so very warm in the room. Very loud and noisy street especially when you need to keep window open. Super tiny shower I could barely move in and bathroom was sooooo small

Our room was at top floor. Elevator was not working for one day. I had walking issues; still had to walk the stairs without any option … Repairs done in 1 day …

Historic hotel in central location. Highly recommended.

Central location - perfect for discovering the city on foot. The staff were very helpful and even provided a parking pass for us to unload our bags before parking across the river. The hotel has a preferential rate for parking so be sure to ask. The hotel has a lovely restaurant and bar on the lakefront which we used a few times; very friendly staff.

he hotel does not have air conditioning; open your windows at night and keep the lights off and you will be fine. Request a room on the lower floors which are cooler.

The location and view were nice. The staff was also friendly.

You are not allowed to open the windows due to bugs and mosquitoes because of the lake, however there is no air conditioning in the entire hotel. The room was an absolute sauna sweat box. There is zero air flow but they do provide a fan. I requested a second one and even with that it was unbearably hot. This hotel needs to either install screens on the windows so you can open the windows for air and cooling, or install air conditioning in the rooms. For 400 Euros a night I would absolutely stay somewhere else.

Location was great

There was no air conditioning and there were bugs all over our room when we got there. The beds were quite uncomfortable and the shower was very small and difficult to use. Really bad value for what we paid
