Food good, location excellent,
no real dislikes
8.0
The hotel is excellent value for money and is set up for families with children. It's warm and cosy, has a ski hire shop on site, ski lockers and is properly ski in/ski out. The food is good and plentiful and lots of choice. It's a bit samey after a week, but not too bad. The bedrooms are comfortable and have a number of English channels on the TV. The hotel has a games room with board games, a football table and table tennis. Good location.
It's a bit tired and could do with a refurb, but compared to many other hotels in France, it's certainly no worse.
9.0
Plenty of choice at the buffet meals, and the restaurant and bar both have excellent panoramic views to the surrounding mountains (including Mont Blanc). The hotel benefits from having a Skiset ski hire shop in the basement, and lockers right next door to store your kit. From the lockers you can exit directly onto the piste leading down to the Begerie and Boulevard lift: you couldn't get a better "ski-in ski-out location" really.
The deco is a bit dated (although everything is clean and functional). The entertainment in the bar was a bit cheesy, but it's not as if it was compulsory to take part in!
7.5
Great location, great value for money, nice choice of food and lovely fresh salad bar.
Would definitely stay again
It took an hour to check-in four guests on arrival, bedroom needs updating and no tea making facilities in the room.

Location on the slope perfect - you can ski in and out of the hotel. Heated lockers. View from the room was nice. The buffets were not very elaborate nor varied but the food was good. You are in France after all :) Staff was nice and friendly. Bubbly last night of the stay. We even got a refill.
The hotel was very basic. Too few lifts and lifts slow. Rooms are small and there is not enough space to hang out your wet skiing clothes. Not enough sockets in the room to charge devices for the whole family. It also seems to be understaffed. You have to check out at 10 am and you can only check in at 5 pm. Some rooms were not even ready at 5 pm. Seemed like there were two cleaners to do up all the rooms. At meal times, they systematically ran out of clean plates, cups, cutlery. They also ran out of nice desserts very quickly. You had to run for it. Not much variation for breakfast. Dinner buffet adequate but nothing impressive. You cannot pay anything in cash, only credit. I had to raise my limit.
