Good stopover venur

I use Hostal Bungalows twice a year on.my way to Santa ferry to uk and back. Great place. Bungalow is comfortable and somewhere I can cook, bring 2 dogs and have a days rest and s swim beforr another 6 hour drive. Shop on site and shady path for dog walking to the rear

Price was good you get what you pay for

The food and the fact that you can't leave the site till 8 am we stopped here on route to Portugal and we like to set off at 6 to get a full day travelling

The staff on the campsite were extremely friendly and helpful. The bungalow was spacious for one or two people. Heating in living area and bathroom good. Bed comfortable. Nice bar/restaurant on site. Generally a nice environment.

The kitchen facilities were very limited and not enough crockery, cutlery or general equipment provided. The few plates provided were dirty and had to be washed before they could be used.

Perfect location.

Perfect for a stopover between Portugal and the ferry at Santander. Easy to find with SatNav. Bungalow No.3 was clean, warm and had free parking at the door. Free WiFi was excellent. Bus L5 outside goes straight into beautiful Cáceres. Covid mask still worn on the bus. €1.10 each way. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Well-equipped compact space

The bungalow was really well laid-out internally, with a great range of pots, pans and utensils — way better equipped than expected. The shop on site is more expensive than the supermarket, but pretty average for a convenience store. We were happy to have access to it as we arrived on Sunday when all the other shops were shut. Parking is across from the bungalow in a dedicated spot.

WiFi in the room was patchy but still serviceable.

Great area to visit-interesting places- find somewhere else to stay or camp there when it is warmer!

the room warmed up quickly. The bathroom was clean and bright

the staff were not helpful. we were given a "key" for the barrier which didnt work! On asking for replacement...not possible! The sleeping area was very gloomy with inadequate lighting and tiny in size.

The whole thing was disappointing.

Kitchen facilities, cleanliness. Dirty towel on floor in bathroom. Stained upholstery. Ants in the kitchen.

Good site, just a few niggles.

The bed was very comfortable and the site was very quiet. Good shower. The location is excellent for our purposes of travelling into Portugal. Good parking. Friendly staff.

I had to clean all the surfaces and wash all our dishes before use. We were ignored at the bar by the bartender who was on his phone. Pity the pool etc are all out of action. I assume this is all due to transition from Covid to opening up. I would stay here again however.

Lovely walk for the dogs, restaurant was lovely and it was a short distance from the main road. all in all a great stop

Good value-for-money either as a stop-over or as alternative to the busier/pricier city centre

Excellent value for money and well placed outside the city to be easily reached from the main routes

Not a lot given our expectations of this value-for-money locatiion.

Good for a night but they definitely need to change the mattress!

It was clean and the shower was fantastic - hot water and great pressure.

The bed was terrible. We hardly slept. We didn’t stay in a bungalow as advertised but in a building.
