Great find for a stop over on way home. Place is being updated but clean rooms with good facilities. The bonus is the wonderful garden to sit in and hens roaming about free range. Great breakfast.
Nothing, provided what I needed at a good price.

Recently decorated room of good size and modern ensuite. Evening meal was good and served in the lovely garden. Good breakfast. Good walking/cycling path on repurposed railway track by side of property

Big garden area, with a few grubby chairs and other seating. Pleasant and helpful staff member at breakfast
The room I booked was advertised as having a kitchen, it didn't. I triple checked which amenities (oven, microwave, stove top etc) it had as we planned to cook that evening after a visit to the supermarket. When we arrived we were shown to a basic room on the first floor with no kitchen, I explained to the staff member that I'd booked a room with a kitchen and she said yes there is a kitchen, she took us down two floors to the basement where there was indeed a kitchen, it was lit by one temporary light bulb as the rest of the strip lighting had been removed, it was really a semi commercial kitchen no longer in use, we had no choice and ended up using it, very strange experience.

This hotel is situated in a gorgeous part of France, in the countryside. The hotel has everything you need and is a traditional style and the staff are friendly despite limited English.
Whilst the staff were pleasant and helpful, we had some issues with the price of the room. An automatic 10 euros (no option to deselect) was added for pets. We did not bring pets so when I booked it, I immediately asked for the 10 euros to be refunded. The hotel told me to contact Booking. Booking told me to contact the hotel. I went back and forth until eventually Booking agreed to refund me but not the full amount. I got 9.29 euros. Also the hotel has a lot of peeling wallpaper. It's like they don't invest in maintenance. Still, it was in a beautiful place with lots of nature but for the same cost of the room, you could stay in the cute village.

Fine for an overnight stay, would have been good to have fans in the room as it was so warm. The owners were very friendly and breakfast was good with fresh bread. Lovely outdoor space.
Rooms need fans in the summer!

Lovely family-run business in former railway hotel, next to the cycle track. Friendly and personable. Loved the animals (bantams, chickens, ponies, goats). Evening meal (need to pre-book) in the garden was a great way to end a very hot day touring.
Nothing, but the jaded decor and fixtures might not suit everyone.

Lovely location, beautiful garden with assorted chickens and goats, relaxed friendly atmosphere - loved it!

Always a warm welcome, we had forgotten to book the evening meal and a while later we were enjoying a drink in the lovely garden and they came out and offered to make us a salad with dessert. We gratefully accepted as we didn't fancy any more driving that day.
Bed a little bit low and too soft for us but that's a personal thing.

The view from the room but couldn’t work out how to get there
Looked like electrical/plumbing work was going on and the place needed redecorating.
Not easy to find

Very Good Breakfast. Dog made welcome is all areas.
Room not \s expected and did not have the facilities mentioned; only a bed, lights, one table and chair; bathroom with no soap or anything to clean hands. No coffee making facilities etc. etc.

After a very hot and long drive it was wonderful to relax in the garden with a cold beer. Silky chickens were running about, there was a goat and a couple of ponies. I could hear a cuckoo for the first time in years. Just as we were thinking we would have to drive to the nearest town to find somewhere to eat an evening meal, we were offered the chance to dine at the Chambres d'Hotes with some other guests. Everyone was friendly and it was fairly informal and relaxed.
Nothing.

Nothing except the owner ( male ) was friendly & pleasant.
We have stayed all over Europe & this was the worst place we have ever stayed in. The bathroom was a disgrace, filthy old shower, tatty shower curtain, cheap loo roll, cracked hand basin with tatty taps, old hard threadbare towels which should have been white but were grey. The bedroom was no better, filthy windowsill & radiator, no mirror, no headboard, cheap pillows, one bedside table with one lamp & the TV did not work.

We have stayed here several times, Amelie and Thierry are excellent hosts. We were here when the pandemic broke and we were unable to continue to Spain. They were so helpful and accommodating, finding us a vet to enable us to return to UK.
