The location, the room and facilities
The breakfast is comparable to a 3 stars German motel.

This is a beautiful place, lovely facilities and great staff. The food was great and the ambiance lovely as well. The highlight was a very nice braai outside for dinner our first night! The sundowner game drive was also another highlight - I'd recommend it.
The only thing I can complain about is that the pool should be heated during winter. We had beautiful weather but the pool was way too icy to enjoy. Another thing others should be aware of is that the lodge is +-45min drive to the Etosha main gate, making a trip to the game reserve a full day out.

Staff were excellent - nothing was too much trouble. Food we excellent and chef George managed to cater to my wife’s semi vegetarian diet. The deck and swimming pool were very nice with lots of spaces for quests so you did not feel you were sitting on top of each other. The fire pit in winder was a lovely feature.
The 27km road to get there is good dirt road but very dusty.

There is a nice pool, if it's not too occupied by the many other guests staying at the lodge. The staff is very friendly and tries to assist.
It's not as close to Etoscha as you'd think, you still need to drive 1,5 hours to the gate - 1 way. The ways in the lodge are long and steep, food is passable - not worth the money. The room was full of spiders and other insects, it's got size but is missing attention to detail, couldn't wait to leave.

Breakfast, dinner, pool.
Nicely decorated
Nice views
Steep walk to the bungalow - You can't call the caddy every now and then.
Over an hour driving to the Etosha Pan

This is a really beautiful hotel with massive rooms and the outdoor shower is really lovely. There is a lot of wildlife in the hotel gardens/grounds and that is really the selling ticket for me --- one shouldn't have to go to a park to see wildlife in Africa. The staff are also really lovely people, they make a lot of effort to accommodate the visitors. Many thanks to Abraham, Elena and Brenda for being so kind to our team.
The decor, although old world charm is a bit tired and outdated. The hotel can benefit from a makeover that is more aligned with its Namibian roots. WIFI also needs to be extended to the rooms because it is difficult to walk down to reception everytime one needs to send an email or make a call.

The property is part of the natural park ! girafe next to your lodge ! swimming pool and service is exceptional ! Manager is excellent and all staff is very helping and smilling ! Quality of the chef and food is very good ! The tour proposed to etosha are very good and staff doing the tour know what they talk about and where to go in the national park ! The rooms are just superb … view on the national park , quality of the bed and soo clean ! Best place vs value ! Architecture, decoration, style, a sophisticated concept, combined with attentive personnel, really comfortable accomodations and delicious meals from a gifted Chef. You don't need much more to be happy.

the property was epic and is based on a huge wildlife reserve (so you will see giraffes, antelope, and lots more from your window)! everything about Epacha was just perfect, and the staff were so relaxed, friendly and helpful. absolutely nothing was too much to ask (they seemed to preempt everything you needed). the team arranged activities for us including incredible game drives, picnics for the days and even a fantastic BBQ one of the nights we stayed. the food was extraordinary and the facilities were perfect. it was worth every penny and we would go back in a heartbeat! thank you Graham, Milton and all the team for making our break so memorable!
not a dislike but just to be aware it’s about 30 or so minutes drive to Etosha.

I am still awaiting feedback on my request for a refund for 1 night as we had to leave earlier because we had 2 punctured tyres whilst in the Etosha park.
